Exchange Services Inc, Marty Richardson Timeshare sale, Buyer ready to purchase Montana

*General Comment: Timeshare Resale Scams

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...

I was contacted out of the blue by Marty Richardson at Exchange Services inc about a timeshare I had for sale that they had a buyer ready, he emailed me a contract that had the State of Michigan seal, but their business is located in Montana and I had to act immediately sending them $2700 for processing.

I called the State of Michigan Real Estate complaints and learned a company similary named with same corporate headquarters had let their Real Estate license expired 20 years earlier and no company by that name was licensed in Michigan to conduct business in Real Estate.

I called Exchange Services Inc for their Real Estate license and they sent another email with their Corporate ID# 066922, which searching does not exist.

Be careful of their scam.

Timeshare Resale Scams

AUTHOR: Brad304 - ()

At least you didn't fall for it, you did the right thing: a research on the company before making ANY business with them is something that everyone should do. If you really want to sell your timeshare, know its market value and list it on eBay or RedWeek, you don't need a resale company, neither paying such a large upfront fee
