word of caution to anyone who urgently needs to sign a lease --do not do business with exclusiverents.com

they are NOT exclusive. they are not responsive. this company is run by two ladies down in Orange County. it might only be one lady posing as two. they have someone at "the office" and another who travels to do appointments and such with the homeowners. it's a subscription based service to see exlusive rental listings at affordable prices. one problem is that they have a complicated process of scanning and packaging up all these financials so that they can pre-screen you and deliver all these documents to the property owner. their website is old. not user friendly. if they were legitimate, they would do better to have more interactive/dynamic website tools to upload these documents to streamline the process, but back to the point. once you are enrolled, paid up, and documents transferred, you are supposed to send them an email on specific properties that you would like to see. she/they are very fussy about following the email format instructions. but the fruad is this: you will never see any of the listings. I would send requests and they would say "so sorry, you're too late. we stop accepting at 2 o'clock.." so does your request push to the next day? no! you have to submit a new email. I submit another one and the email response say "oops, we're closed today. we are having administrive issues. try tomorrow." anyway, the point is: after all this clumsy emailing and dealing with a lady stuck in the 20th century, all I ever got was the name of a realtor who was the point of contact for a listing I wanted to visit. when I called him he had no idea who they were and he said this particular rental was listed elsewhere; meaning, my subscription to exclusiverents.com was NOT exclusive at all.

I honestly don't know if this company is a fraud or if the ladies are just so incompetent and unattentive to people who are on the move in urgent need of housing. but it is a rip off. so I post it here for your benefit.
