Expedia representing Holiday Inn Express Los Angeles Airport and American Airlines Totally ripped me off for over $1,000. in airfare and hotel Bellevue, Washington
*Consumer Comment: Airlines do not allow change of dates, why should Expedia?
Twice I purchased airfare and hotel through Expedia and was not allow to change (even the departure time,) and was forced to forfeit all of the money.
First, I purchased a airline ticket from Phoenix to Wichita and because an illness happened I was unable to use the ticket that day, was not allow to change the date.
Secondly, I purchased two airline tickets with American Airlines from Phoenix to Los Angeles plus a hotel room with Holiday Inn Express LA Airport and was not allow to change the date or time.
In total I lost over $1,000. This cannot be allowed to continue.

Airlines do not allow change of dates, why should Expedia?

Please read the "rules & regulations" of Expedia---I believe you'll find that "changes" are not accepted.
Airlines do not accept "changes" without a fee, and hotels may have other guests scheduled, that would interfere with their giving Expedia unused rooms at a discount rate.
Do you really think you canfly or use hotels when it is convenient for you?
