We'll i figure i'd give you some tips to help you differentiate a legitimate business from a sales call.

When Explore Talent called me i was met with a man, Demon Ming or something like that, and when he was talking to me i noticed a few things.

When he spoke, he sounded to be reading off a sheet.
I could tell because he was talking pretty fast and impersonal, either indicating he really is reading off a sheet or he's gotten into the motion of saying the same thing over and over again.

Next when we first spoke he starts off with an attention grabber."Hey we have people interested in you BUT you're not registered with us."Real commission based jobs don't require a registration. Especially modeling. People pay models because they believe their beauty can sell their products. 'Investing' money into a commission based job is simply stupid.

Next he would say my name after each sentence.
Indication that he's trying to hold my attention to listen to his shpeal and make it sound more personal.
Not that there's anything wrong with keeping someones attention, but add that on to the way he talks, which sounded scripted, didn't sound legitimate or like he really cared about me.

Finally he tosses in the price. one time payment of 194.99 to register and have him represent me with 8-10 modeling calls per month. Goes back to the type of job modeling is.Commission based. So why pay a fee to get a job in a field with very little work security.

It simply doesn't make sense and it's surprising how many people fall for this sort of scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. It always is.

Don't fall for these. If it sounds like they're selling you a job, just turn it down.
