Explore Talent An Obvious Scam, charges large fees. Los Angeles California

Explore Talent is an internet site that offers modeling and acting jobs. "Where Talent & Jobs connect". In reality talent and jobs really do not connect, not unless the person trying to receive work pays a large fee that is conveniently typed in super small type.

Now I hope that if you join Explore Talent that you do not expect to receive any work whatsoever...after all, "ExploreTalent is not an employment agency, agent or teacher & does not procure, get, promise employment, jobs or booking." Thats wonderful.

I did join Explore Talent just to see if it was a scam or not, and it turns out it was a scam, so I planned to cancel my account, but it won't let me. It states that since I signed up for free that they will never ask me to pay for anything. (even though there is constantly a pay plan window popping up) and that there is no need to cancel my account. Now wait a second, I dont think Explore Talent should be the one deciding whether or not to cancel my account. I gave out personal information, (stupidly) and I would like it off the internet. I don't care if you give it out or not, I dont want your company or anyone else affaliated with your company knowing where I live and what my name is. Sure if you have a modeling job, I'd be happy to negotiate, but I highly doubt you have any modeling jobs or acting jobs to offer. Explore Talent is a major scam and was just bought by David Davis. According to him the site is now "better" as it once had been in the hands of Blake Yoon. There was controversy about whether Yoon owned Explore Talent, or not but according to Davis, "On January 13, 2006 I bought the site from Astral a California corporation. When I was considering buying it, I Googled ExploreTalent and found about the Blake Yoon story, I questioned Astral about it, they indicated they bought the site on July 29, 2005 from a company that was never owned by Blake Yoon, but had Blake Yoon consulting them, Yoon eventually tried to claim all sort of things. They had a falling out and decided to remove Yoon's association with the business in an official buyout of all claims Blake Yoon had.

There is no need for such a headache as Explore Talent, just don't bother signing up for the free account, and definitely DO NOT give Explore Talent ANY MONEY! You will regret it later on when they continue to charge you credit card even after you thought you canceled you account.
