Our experience with Explore Your World and Timeshare Properties (TPS) 7950 NW 53rd Street
suite 337 Miami, Florida, 33166 United States has been identical to that reported by Vacation Minded.  In November 2014, we went to a timeshare presentation at Vallarta Gardens Resort near Puerto Vallarta and upon exit purchased a vacation program from Explore Your World.  The package was purchased at a cost of $2500 and offered 50 weeks purchased for travel credits.

In November 2014 I had to contact the company to receive my password because they would not call me or email me the information.  Then I went to use the weeks we had purchased for travel and was told that I had to sell my weeks prior to me getting any credit. I had to be the one to make all the arrangements with selling my weeks to another company called BH Club Marketing.

In December 2014, we made a request to convert the annual maximum 10 weeks to airfare credits.  At the time we were told it would take up to 30-60 days to complete the conversion.  After considerable delay and excuses, in March 2015 we were told that three weeks had been sold.  When I called the company to buy airfare, they told me they could not until I had 10 weeks in my account.

I have sent 5 emails and numerous phone calls to the company with no response.

I have reached out to my credit card company and they now have an investigation going on with Explore UR World.

Here is the email that I have been sending with no response from the company.

As stated in the last email (Below) it seems that my husband and I were scammed for this program.

I am asking for my original refund of $2500.00 within the next 3 business days.

The contract stated that we would receive a password to start using our weeks after 30 – 32 days of the contract.  34 days later with no response from the company, I had to call and request one.

  1. Once I established my account, I requested that we start using our weeks and needed to purchase airline tickets.
    1. The response was, I had to ‘sell’ my weeks to get money into my account.  I had to do all the contacting and agreements with BH Club Marketing.

                                        i.     This was never explained at the meeting and is not in the contract.

  1. It was also explained I could only do 10 weeks at a time.
  2. I contacted BH Club Marketing and gave them permission to sell my first 10 weeks.
    1. I asked BH Club Marketing how long it would take to sell my first 10 weeks, I was told (via email/in writing) that it would take 1-2 months at the most.
    2. Over 3 months now has passed and only 3 weeks of the first 10 weeks been sold.
    3. Explore Your World now has told me I cannot use my account until I have 10 weeks in there.

This is fraud and a scam.

I expect a response and my money returned within 3 business days of this email.
