I ordered a Nikon D40 online from Express Cameras and received an email the next day asking me to call their 800 number to confirm the order so that it could be shipped.

When I called I was told that I had not given the 3 digit code on the back of my card. I was transfered to Jason who gave me a sales pitch first that the lens that came with the package was not a Nikor lens which I questioned he also told me the battery that came with the camera was only good for two hours. With the upgrades including battery and charger, a 3 year warranty, and 2 gig high speed memory card Jason quoted a price of $798.00 including the upgrades. (The #5 package.) My initial order was for $489.00. Slick salesman this Jason. He was suppose to email me a confirmation of my order which he never did.

When I checked my account it had been charged $930.00. I immediately called to find out why and was given the run around by Adam and Kevin, both were very rude. Asking for supervisors only gets you another rude person.

After numerous phone calls I finally reached Jason. He said that was the quote he had given me. I wrote down the amount that he quoted me which was $798.00. and told him I wanted to cancel my order. He said he could not do that even though the order had not shipped. He said I would have to wait until I received the order and if I still wanted to return it I would have to call to get an RMA#. But to call him first before talking to customer service for the RMA#.

When the order came in the invoice included shipping charges which were suppose to be free on this item. I immediately called and asked for an RMA#. Forget that you will never get one. You will only get the run around and left on the phone until you hang up and call back. Jason was of no help and as rude as Kevin and Adam.

I cannot believe that the New Jersey Attorney General allows this company to stay in business. They are an absolute rip-off. Buyer beware!
