Express Group Rebate ripoff Fraud Wixom Michigan

I purchased an LCD Monitor at Fry's Electronics here in California in July of 2004, with a $50 rebate that was meant to be processed by The Express Group.

After calling their 1.800 number they claim that they issued and mailed the check but I never received it. Their records show that the check was not cashed. I simply asked for them to void the original check and mail me a new one but they said that it was too late to issue another check and there was nothing they could do.

I asked to speak to a manager and was told none were available and I could leave a message on the manager's voice mail. However rather than being transferred I was hung up on. I called back and asked for a manager again, after holding for literally an hour someone picked up and immediately hung up the phone.

They obviously received all my rebate forms etc as they issued the check in the first place, it should not be a problem to issue another check.
