EyeGlass World Sexual harassment is ok there!!! mesa Arizona

I worlked for this ompany for 4 years. I dont even now how i managed honestly, i was a single mom with kids and thats what got me up t go in everyday. Besides ripping people off and not stating the sales correctly, there is a complete lack of training and support to employees. 

The regional mananger everyone is afraid of becuase everyday is a constant threat to losing your job, I can't even tell you how many times I had to write up staff or let the know what the deal was. Then when the regional manager is confronted about her she switches her words around. everything is a lie, everyday its a different story, forget even being a manager there because she micromanages and doesnt let you do your job. She tells you how to do it. The constant emails and phone calls fromher are outrageous. You cant get anything done or take care of your customers because you are constatly being yelled at an belittled by this woman! She makes you feel lowe than scum on the floor. 

SHe nhires people that dont know anything abot optical. Coming from all kinds of jobs and promising them the world. Most last 2-3 moths and quit. 

While I was there, sexual harasment took placee everyday. i mean everyday all day. It made it very awkward to work there. But again i had family to support so i stayed. However,I did report it everytime it happened. nothing was ever done. EVER. Even taking it straight to HR. Employees were going and drinking at lunch, the guys would talk about very inappropriate things like body parts, sex, shaving in areas, and not to mention the visual tactics they would use. The jokes were so disgusting and crude.they would talk about what they do with their parters and ask very personal questions about your life and sex.I hated it.It would make me so sick. Even ater asking many times for them to stop, they didnt. it just got worse, then the touching started with the shoulder rubs and the hugging. 

 there was a lot of descrimination against employees as well, if they didnt like you you felt it. thy made your work day the worst day of your life. times 5 days a week. there was cliques. you would get in trouble for anything, even stuff you didnt do because you were off that day!

So I had gotten really sick, i had to go to the hospital, where i found out i had menigitis. I had to leave my shift to go to the HOSPITAL, In the hosptial for 3 weeks, i return and i am being written up for leaving my shift!!!!!ARE you kidding me!!! I was literally dying in the office, menigitis can kill you if untreated. That was my wellcome back, a write up. The new manager that took over is a freaking s****.>

This is the WORST place  I have ever worked in my life. 
I really should havee hired a lawyer. I never got  lunch break, i workeed 10-8 everyday wiithout any breaks. It was very rare if i got to go to lunch. and if i did jodee the manager was out getting me 10 min after i left to take a break. 
I worked 6 days a week but was told to only clock in for 5. since i was salaried. 

I developed severe anxiety working for this company. Wheni quit i was called by HR to find out why. 
I gave them the whole story, you know what HR asked me.. if i had a magic wand what would i do?? 

I do not recommend working there. stay far far away, hopefully someday they get their act to gether. Im still debating on the lawyer. That placed really caused me many problems and health probems. A lack of breaks and not being able to eat for amost 10 hours. I literally lived there. never saw my kids or got to do fun things with them. i missd ALL of their school events because anytime request I would pt in was denied. Would some kind of excuse as to why i couldnt come in later or leavee early. and forget about taking a vacation, the manger pretty much gets whatever time off she wants, no one else. its ok for her to leave early ,come in late, get her 1 hr lunch break, and go smoke every 10 minutes. If you werent her you didnt get a break. Seriously don't work there you will put your life and health at risk.
