I was contacted by phone on Friday, September 6th, 2013 by a Mr. Justin Anderson regaring a payday loan.  I gave him all of my information and he gave me all of his company's information.  He then told me to wait until i received a call from David Goodwin to progress further.  I did receive a call from Mr. Goodwin a few minutes later.  He said he was going to electronic deposit $2700 into my checking account after I first made a good faith deposit of $250.  I went to my local WalMart and purchased a Green Dot debit card and gave the clerk $250 cash, plus another $4.64, which was the fee to load the debit card.  I went home and David Goodwin said the funds would be in my account after midnight.  I arose at 9:00 am from a call from David Goodwin saying the only way i could get my funds was to wire another $450 cash and pay $8.00 fee to do so.  I went and withdrew money on my debit card.   I did as he told me and when I returned home he called and said the funder could not deposit the money as it was a weekend and it would be in my account early Monday morning.  He even said he would give me an additional $100 for the inconvenience.   I kept checking and surprise... no wired funds had been deposited.  I called him and he said the only way I could get my loan now was to pay over $600 to IRS, which were supposedly taxes for the loan.  By then I knew I was being taken for all the money I had deposited with his company.  When I called hm and said I knew it was a scam, he said the only way I could get any of my money back was to pay a $300 cancellation fee.  I didn't fall for this one and argued on several additional calls that I knew it was a scam.  I looked it up on the computer (which I should have done long before) and sure enough his company was listed on Rip Off Reports.  He kept telling me he promised if I would deposit just one more amount of $300 I would get my $700 back.  No way!  I guess I have learned a very important lesson and hope other widows don't lose all their banking funds in order to get a larger loan which you will never receive.  He kept saying he felt bad (ha ha) and would make sure I got either the funding and/or my deposited money back.  He is a liar and a really good con man.  So I guess I am just out the $750 unless you can tell me any avenue I can take to retrieve these monies.

The Federal Trade Commission - you are probably never going to see your money but at least you can help them to track these scam artists one way or another.
