Facebook DOESN'T GIVE A d**n ABOUT THEIR USERS PRIVACY Internet

 ...long story short, but we currently have our own issues right now & it should come to no surprise that the C.E.O. was ordered to testify before Congress recently. FaceBook refuses to take decisive action against A group of racist criminals responsible for attempts of hacking, identity theft, libel, stalking & threats despite the evidence that had been provided unto them. Do people really think they absolutely can't communicate without Facebook?  Have we come to that?

I have been in computers since 1962 when I worked on shipboard computers all the way through the original Apple and IBM computers, worked for IBM for 27 years and was a tech director at a K12 schools and STILL do not have a Myspace or Facebook account and do not want one.

I hear too many serious problems every day from students and people who don't use common sense.  I could tell many disasters.

If people can't communicate with me another standard way: phone, mail, in person (there's a radical idea) etc. I don't need to communicate with them.

Please break the Social networking habit, you'll be glad you did.

   I've been communicating just fine on the Internet for many years.   I've never had a Facebook account and don't plan on getting one in the forseeable future.  If Facebook disappeared tomorrow, I wouldn't even notice it.

   Joe, although I've pointed out your sockpuppets several times (hint: it's more than your writing style that gives you away), you have yet to point out who else you think I might be pretending to be.    Since I only have this one user ID on this site, it would provide some amusement to know what other ID is me.

I have voluntarily stopped using facebook for a while now and I have had no trouble conducting business using optional methods of communication. Email, snail mail and even....using a phone. You can even skype and conduct business or other matters face to face with video conferencing.

Now what is Facebook really? Lets wiki it and see..

That is all it is, period. Communication can go on just fine on without it.

As such, it is difficult to communicate with people  and major businesses unless you can access it.

By the way, you do a great job of  balancing multiple identities, yourself. LOL

   You have the whole Internet to annoy people, pretend to be other people and generally make an a*s of yourself (this site being a prime example).    What do you mean there's no place to go?  

YOU put all the information and photos out there in cyberspace for anyone including myself to use and abuse any way we choose, there is nothing you can do about it, it's done, live with it.

If you don't want your information or photos used by others then don't put it on the web.  If you think it is secure and no one can access it, you are wrong.

  This wouldn't be so bad if Facebook had remained a place for college kids to hang out the way it was when it just started out.

It sounds like to me that this woman is a mistress or old girlfriend of your husband or your sister's husband or boyfriend.Like Fatal Attraction. Is your huband running around? If not, maybe your sister's husband.

It has been my experience that Facebook will do NOTHING if you have ANY kind of complaint.

They probably wouldn't respond to a complaint if the cops went there to take a report.

I wasn't able to tell them when I changed my ISP so they banned me from the site. They did not recognize my new ISP address and they took my site down. I tried to launch another one and it lasted until I shut down my computer. When I rebooted, it was gone.

Everything was run by bots and automatic devices. I was never able to prove who I was or talk to a live person. You could sue for defamation/libel --good luck with your lawyer being able to get them served.

You might be able to contact the FBI for stalking. Again, good luck with THAT.

This woman would have had to have known you all in some way and if you think you might be able to guess who she is. She sounds dangerous to me.

NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT ABOUT IT.

Maybe your local news media would be interested.

I have posted my complaint  about the injustice I suffered because of FACEBOOK. I think it is a huge disorganized MESS probably subbed out to the lowest sub contractor in the Third World and the workers don't even speak English.
