factoryOutletStore LLC Company Falsely Advertises Product and Forces Buyers to Pay For Return Shipping New York Internet

The company advertises on thier site that their GPS 12volt chargers will work on Garmin Nuvi 750 & 1350 GPS models (as well as numerous other Garmin GPS models).  Without researching the company, I ordered two chargers. 

They do not work on the GPS models they advertise.

I contacted the company and asked for a return authorization with paid return shipping.   They completely ignored me.  After several attempts to get the company to do the right thing I finally filed a complaint with PayPal.  The company told PayPal that they would not provide a refund so PayPal refunded the purchase price, but did not recover my expenses to send the garbage back to FactoryOutletStores LLC. 

I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of New York.  They forwarded my complaint to FactoryOutletStores LLC numberous times.  Each time the company completely ignored the fact I was asking for return shipping expenses and would only say I was given a refund of the purchase price, as if they gave me the refund, and also ignoring the fact I had to file a complaint with PayPal just to get the purchase price returned. 

I couldn't tell if they were avoiding the issue on purpose or were just unable to understand the the complaint, even though they were repeatedly told the issue was the return shipping of their product that did not work as advertised. and not a refund of the purchase price.

Companies that provide a high level of customer service will pay for return shipping when they send you the wrong product...but not these people.  Best advise:  Steer clear of these people.  Don't take my word for it, do a simple search on the intenet for FactoryOutletStores and you'll find hundreds of complaints against them! 

This was a lesson for me.  Before making a purchase on the internet, check out the company first.  Had I done that, I would have saved myself hassle and money.
