I am a loan officer at a mortgage company that specializes in helping people with past credit problems start anew.

I have had so many clients that have been taken for a ride by Fairbanks Capital Corp. aka "the loan servicing center" that now when a client tells me that they are currently with Fairbanks I want to tell them to go somewhere else to get a loan.

Fairbanks capital WILL NOT issue a payoff for anybody in less than one month. I have had a client wait 3 months for a payoff before. I have had to dispute payoffs with fairbanks because my clients have been overcharged for interest, prepayment penalties, etc. etc. A disputed payoff takes an extra month.

I have had employees of Fairbanks,namely Chelsea Robertson, yell at me over the phone and call me a shark. She verified a clients mortgage history with my underwriter and then called my underwriter back and changed her story. She blew my clients loan by lying about her pay history. Then she told my client to sell her car or have a bake sale to make a house payment.

I have seen Fairbanks tell a client who had a damaged roof from a storm to send them the money that her homeowner's insurance company gave her to fix the roof so that they could protect her from unscrupulous contractors. Fairbanks then "applied the $5,000 to principal" leaving my client broke with a damaged roof and no more insurance money.

I could tell stories all day about these monsters. Would someone please call 60 minutes and have them expose the bastards!
