Unfortunately my family and I (my wife and 6-month old child) were essentially illegally evicted from our apartment after living there for 5+ years (a new management company took over last year - who goes by the name 'Fairfield Properties') essentially let everyone's lease run out so that you were on a month-to-month basis, even though I would call every single month, send e-mails and letters requesting a new lease with Fairfield since didn't even a signed agreement with them technically) promise after promise after promise...nothing.

I then quickly started to notice other tenants and friends of mine who started moving our, as Fairfield would just literally 'rob them', refusing to return Security Deposits to almost half the residents I spoke to in the building, for no apparent reason, as they probably assume no one will take them to court for $2,000ish. Even more sadly is the 80%+ elderly population in our building that, double and triple charging them for services never rendered. (Things that younger couples such as ourselves caught much more easily and notifying some residents too late, making them furious of course.

Then we came home one night after dinner...our carpet felt like someone poured 30 gallons of Poland Spring on it - We had a sever leak from the ice machine in our fridge, and after one DOZEN, yes (12) documented complaints, 5 Registered/Returned Receipt Letters, and dozens upon dozens of e-mails, they never once responded. Yes - we had a 6-month old son with mold and mildew growing upon the walls and carpet in our apartment, essentially forcing us to move out on such short notice costing us additional thousands of dollars in storage fees having to temporarily move back into my parents home because we couldn't find another place to rent in a matter of days/week... 

I am now threatening to get my lawyer involved as well as other victims of their heinous behavior (especially after reading the DOZENS of complaints about them on RipOffReport.com and their less than deserved 1-Star rating on the BBB site) and then to top it all off when they finaly gave me a response, itw wasn't to take care of our health hazards in our apartment, but to raise out rent 40%, and also sending us an eviction notice same day (not for non-payment_ wihich my laawyer told me in over 30+ years of practive he's never heard of such a ridiculous thing.

And then - to put the cherry on top of it all -they actually had the nerve to tell me that they were going to take action against me! I can of course explain in more elaborate detail and since there are literally DOZENS AND DOZENS of complaints out there - we would like your help in reaching out to the other victims of Fairfield, possibly going for Class Action Lawsuit against them.

I've never usually done these sort of things but I am so upset for my family and I what we've been through the past several months as well as much of the elderly who occupied our building that were taken advantage of severely, it nearly broke my heart. Even building managment personnel whom I will of course not name would complain to me about Fairfield on a DAILY basis since they assumed control of the building.

Good news is I have an entire folder of phone and call logs, photos, pictures, you name it. I would appreciate a call because I am out A LOT of money right now for absolutely no reason....and so are so many others here on RipOffReport...let us pool together and takes these people down. I've already contacted Channel  News on Your sSide and am awaiting a response. If anyone else is as furios as me....let's attack them together - we all have different stories as I've been reading but the factions remain te same. Please contact me ASAP so I can provide full details of the story and situation at hand.
