The home I purchased in 2015 had been damaged duriung transit and a wheel fell off when the driver pulled it in. This bent the wheel hub, axle and frame off the home. My home could not be leveled because the frame is bent. The floor squeeks and the doors wont stay open. The outdoor water valve leaked all over thr insulation under the floor because it was bent and broke. My boyfriend had to fix that because it would have gotten a lot worse. The siding was damage and its coming off on both sides and needs to be taken off and peices that are damaged, replaced, and the rest, remounted.

Williams construction was sent here to fix the ridge cap on the roof and the door that was bent and the bottom board that was ripped all over. However he did not use a spray adhessive when he taped the bottom board and it says in the warranty papers that a spray adhessive has to be applied after it is cleaned and taped. I dont think they cleaned anything first either.

William put a new ridge cap on and a new screen door but he didn't caulk any of the j channel. The back door leaked and the door jam and floor were rotting and i called the insurance company and they came and said the door wasn't installed right. There's gaps where air got through and created condesation. This floor that my boyfriend had to cut out goes into the kitchen. The sub floor is sprung loose and sgueeks through this whole area because the bent frame so when they fix the flooring they can screw and glue the sub floor back down i thought. Back bathroom floor too. Big hump on the floor there.

The flooring ripped when i pulled out the washer and i noticed that it was soaked under the flooring. Thats how i realized the door was leaking. The flooring is loose and rips easily. I pulled out the stove and the flooring ripped there too.

There are multiple cracks on the ceiling and a yellow spot. Fairmont Homes sent Williams Construction to repair damages in March and they taped the leaking window and took pictures and said he had at least four days of work here to do. Next thing we know they send a letter saying the home's not set right and the homes warranty wont cover any of the flooring because my boyfriend tore out the wet moldy stuff. And we have to have the home set properly in order for them to fix anything else.

This home cannot be leveled properly and they say they have issues with the way the home is set. They are trying to say this happened over time from frost heaving the home but i have pictures. I have proof.

My boyfriend wrote them an estimate for the cost of the repairs and it was $9600.00. They didn't like that so they sent Williams. He finally shows up in March 2017 when we had mold on the floor and door in december 2016, during christmas and new years. I wrote a letter in 2015 when I purchased the home and they blew it off. They sent me a survey as a response to the letter i sent about fixing the bent frame and axel and siding damages.

I feel Williams Construction has talked Fairmont Homes into not paying for or fixing the damages. He doesnt want to be responsible for his bad work and have to fix it and it is going to cost too much so they are blaming the water damage on my deck being too close, and they said i had 2'' footers which is a lie. They are making stuff up. Pictures dont lie. I had the assessor here from the insurance company. 3 times. He's proof. Foremost insurance.

My home will not sit level. That picture of the pier you sent me. That pier was there for a jacking point and to block up where that wheel was supposed to be. It is a temporary pier. That is the only one William dug up and took a picture of though I bet.  Where's the pictures of the line he chalked on the frame to see how much it was bent?

Original Letter Sent To Fairmont Homes In Nov. 2015

AUTHOR: - ()

To: Harmony Homes
Warranty Registration Serial #: MY16 202995K
My name is Amanda Kopydlowski. I purchased a mobile home through Hank Ostricki, as my retailer, in July 2015. I am writing you to bring to your attention the numerous problems I'm having with this new home. Your company sent William's Construction to fix the roof and doors and bottom board, so William is witness to the quality of work that was done to the home. I pointed out to William the damage done to the frame because a wheel fell off during transit and now the doors inside won't stay open. Which William tried to correct but couldn't because the frame is bent. It cannot be leveled properly because the back of the home is bent upward and won't come down. William also tried correcting the back door that wouldn't shut but the threshold is clearly not level. I'm surprised William left without caulking between the J channel and door jam of the door he put in. I guess he figured the other doors and windows weren't caulked so why do the one he replaced. So why wasn't anything caulked to begin with and why isn't there any house wrap under the siding. The siding came off in a couple spots and buckled in others, so i called my insurance company,"Foremost" and the assessor came and took pictures. With a puzzled look on his face he said," There's no house wrap on this home." He made a phone call and said if the home wasn't sided properly then they wouln't be responsible for fixing it. He didn't feel it was up to code. I know siding is not water proof and you have to protect the wood. All new houses should have house wrap. Why would i get 6 inch walls and no house wrap. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting a new home with thicker walls if it's not protected and won't last. No caulk and no house wrap. The wood is not protected.
Williams attempt to patch the bottom board was executed poorly too. It was not cleaned well and no spray adhesive was applied before taping. He didn't get the tape tight around the plumbing either. My boyfriend found a nail poking through a shingle after he left too. I feel they didn't take enough time to do the job right and it won't last.
That's not all. I had to have the outdoor water valve replaced because it was broke and sprayed all over out of the turn knob. It got the insulation wet under the floor and i had it replaced. I have a light switch that wont stay on and a heater vent that's bent in because the hole was cut too big. The floor in the back is sprung due to the bent frame. It makes a creeking noise when i walk back there by the back door where the tire fell off.
I hope your warranty will cover these damages though they can't all be fixed. I look forward to hearing from you to sort this out. You can contact me on my home phone at (((REDACTED))).

Demands

I purchased a mobile home from Fairmont Homes LLC in 2015, through my landlord Hank Ostricki. The truck driver was told by Hank to go up to the dam and turn around so he could come into the driveway from the North. This way he could make the turn into the driveway. The truck driver did not listen and tried to get in the driveway from the South. He drug the home through the ditch and lost a wheel and bent the hub, axle, and frame of the home. The outdoor water valve was bent and leaked all over when we hooked up the water. The bottom board, or tarp underneath the home was tore all over. William, Fairmont Homes' contractor, was sent to fix the bottom board, and failed to do it correctly. I read in the owners manual, page 10, that the areas being repaired, have to be cleaned first. Then sprayed with a high tack adhesive spray after the tape is applied. And the tape has to extend 4" past the tear in the bottom board. This was not done. The cleaning or spray adhesive. The siding was damaged and is falling off all over and needs to be taken off and rehung. The floor is ruined in the kitchen and entry way and bathroom by the sprung floor. The door leaks and the flooring and door jamb had to be tore out because the insurance company said it would rot the wood if left that way. The wood was black already and we had to bleach it all to save it. Fairmonts' contractor, William, said this was a "weekend" home. Meaning it wasn't built right. A screw is missing along the door flange. There's multiple cracks on the ceiling and all the electrical outlets are upside down. There's a yellow spot on the ceiling from adhesive showing through. It needs to be painted. The doors wont stay open because the frame is bent and the home will not sit level. This home was under warranty during the time of these damages and I want $9,600.00 to fix these issues. My boyfriend Orry wrote an estimate and sent it to Claudia, there secretary, but she turned him down. Orry is a carpenter and has over ten years experience. Orry thinks William should be responsible for the cost of fixing the bottom board. I don't trust them to fix it right. I want to be paid $9,600.00. That was Orry's original estimate to fix the damages. I feel that I deserve more after what I've gone through trying to get my home fixed while under warranty. I'm pregnant too. This is stressing me out. I posted this on ripoff reports too. There's pictures on there. I thought they where going to fix my home until Bill Pobocik wrote me a letter saying they were not. Jeff Chapla was the first guy that told me he would get this taken care of around Christmas and New year. I never heard back from him. In 2015 I wrote a letter to Fairmont Homes about the problems with my home. They sent me a survey as their response. They didn't send anyone to look at the axle and frame. It says in the owners manual that they have 30 days to have it inspected. They didn't get it inspected until 2017. The frame is under warranty it says in the owners manual as well. Pages 3 and 4. All this has been going on since I got this place in 2015 while it was still under warranty. I didn't mention the roof that had to be fixed because it was not done right. And the front door that was bent and had to be replaced by William. He doesn't caulk anything either. Not on the J-Channel by the door. That should be caulked. I feel that William just talked them into not fixing my home because it's too much for them.

Fairmont Homes warranty fraud. Pictures of new home taken in 2015 when I got it. And X-mas 2016..

AUTHOR: - ()

Fairmont homes sent Williams Mobile Home Repair or Williams construction to fix the damages in March 2017. I bought the home in 2015 and it had a 1 year warranty. It was damaged and should have been fixed. I wanted to be paid for the damages. I finally got 36 dollars for the broken outdoor water valve my boyfriend fixed that year. They

My insurance company says the builders of the home are responsible for the door leaking and rotting my floor. This causes mold and the floor had to be tore out during Christmas 2016. I was pregnant at the time and still am too. Bill Pobocik says they aren't going to cover the floor because it had been removed already. It was a hazard to me and my family's health and had to be removed.

I want my new home to be fixed or I want someone thats getting the money I'm paying to fix it. These homes are not cheap and either is insurance. I pay for insurance but they won't cover my home because it wasn't built right. Why do they take my money and say I have insurance through them if they know they aren;t going to end up paying for any damages?

I got proof of damages and it is insured and was under warranty. It was delivered damaged. Wheel fell of.f Bent the axle and frame. The siding's falling off and bottom board ripped and not repaired propperly. The floor is sprung and ripped, and the door leaks.

Williams took pictures of the bent frame. I didn't hear anything about the siding that's coming off or the bent frame in the letter Bill Pobocik sent me. The frame is clearly bent and they tried saying the groung heaved and caused it to be that way. I want them to pay. They think this is just going to go away like they tried to do the first whole year. They are scamming me and trying to get out of covering the cost of fixing this home.

I'll settle for $10,000.00. Pictures don't lie. I would like to know what Williams figure was for the cost of fixing this home. Ceiling cracks and spots and all.
