I tried to cancel my faithwriters.com membership last week by emailing them at their writer support email address: writer-support@faithwriters.com

I sent this email on January 8th, and today (January 14th), I recieved an email saying that I've been charged for another another month of membership.

My email requesting that my membership be cancelled was disregarded, however. This is unfair and unprofessional.

I am requesting that faithwriters refund me the $10.00 membership charge for January, since I requested that my membership be cancelled 6 days before the last month of my membership had passed.

FaithWriters is not a ripoff

AUTHOR: Shari Armstrong - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, August 07, 2013

I'm a long time member of FaithWriters, since 2005. I'm sorry you're having trouble getting your membership cancelled. Sometimes replies from FaithWriters goes to your spam box. If you still can't contact the owners directly, you can try contacting them through the forum http://www.faithwriters.com/Boards/phpBB2/index.php.

In the past, there has been trouble with the company though which the billing happens, not FaithWriters itself. They will work with you.

There are three levels of membership, and this is on the paid membership pages:

AGREEMENT: By signing up to be a FaithWriters Gold member, you agree to remain a FaithWriters Gold member for at least one year. The value of the services and bonuses we include in your membership are way beyond the cost of your membership so we ask for at least a one year commitment.

*Your account will be automatically rebilled for another year unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. We do not give refunds once a rebilling occurs.

My experience with FW

AUTHOR: Noel - (United States of America)

I'm sorry to hear that some had problems with cancelling their
membership with Faithwriters but that was not what I experienced.

When
you sign up, it is clearly stated that they wish for you to stay a
member for at least a year. You are in agreement with that when you sign
up. I did find myself however, after nine months unable to continue
that commitment and so I emailed them using the "contact us".

Whenever
I had to email them with anything their response has been quick and
friendly and this was no exception. They offered their prayers and
concern about my financial situation which I had explained to them in
the email about how it was proving to become a difficulty to me to pay
for the membership.

They cancelled the membership promptly, about two days after I sent the email.

I was very happy as a paid member of Faithwriters, with what they offered and in their response to need.
