i hired bernstein, unaware of his criminal past.  i did not trust him because i caught him in a few lies, but i convinced myself i wasn't trusting him, because i am a crime victim, and at that point in time, i wasn't trusting anyone.  i convinced myself i was wrong about bernstein.

i hired him because ihad a stalker, and i wasn't getting the help i should from the police.  unaware, that the stalker was a police officer.  scott mentined numerous times about busts he made, and tried to bait me into setting up the subject, by fabricating evidence to incarcerate him by drawing him to a party at the local holiday in, getting him stoned, and calling the police to report a reckless driver once he left the party. and another, by planting a device on his vehicle so he could watch him from his home.  but now this device, if it was stolen,he specified i would have to reimburse him 5000.00 for his loss. however, he couldn't even prove he ever installed it.  i refused this service also.

he ran background checks on the subjects entire family, co-workers, and even his 6 year old son.  and charged me thousands, and refusing to tell me what he was spending the money on.  when i demanded to know, he hemmed and hawed, and a few days later, managed to conjure up a report of what he claims he did.

he called late at night yelling, he was strung out, but not on kool aid, that's for sure.

soon after working with scott, i noticed fraudulent charges to my charge card.  in florida.  where scott was, when the charges occurred.  i never used that card anywhere, except to give scott a retainer. never online or in person.  he was the only person ever to get that card.

he made up stories about people calling, giving him my name, and demanding i pay him to investigate. i told him i'm not paying him to investigate his own crank calls.  that was of no benefit to me.  he did it anyway, and charged me for it.   after filing a complaint against him with he Dept of State, i was told by an investigator, that that's a common tactic of privates to get more money out of their clients.

  he ran dozens of license plates, of the subjects entire family, co-workers, cops, correction officers, me, my neighbors,  people i don't even know.  he would just pick plates and run them. iasked him what he was charging to run these plates and he chuckled and said, ever 10 i'll give you one free. and later i find out he charged me almost 100.00 for each plate. the true cost to run these plates was roughly 5.00 a piece. actually, the rates vatried, from 70-95.00. i guess it depended on what bills he had, or how low his stash was on a given day. then he went to each residence of these plates at 65.00 an hour,  my expense, or at least he claims he did, and discovered absolutely nothing.  and when i asked him what he was doing, he said he wanted to tie the plates together.

  he sold me a defective item for my telephone, and when i returned it, he refused to reimburse me.

i repeatedly had trouble with the subject, and a pattern had devloped.  i asked scott to sit survellance at said time and date, with the video camera on.  i need a video to get an arrest.  i couldn't even get a restraining order, because he was a cop.  scott saw the subject go after me, he ran him off, and turned and walked away with his chest out like he was proud. with a smile, like he  he protected someone, and figured he'd get paid to do it and continue this escapade of fraudulence.  i continued with him for about another 30 minutes that day until he told me i did not have an outstanding bill, and then i asked him why lucas ran, he said, "he can do whatever he wants"  i fired scott.  within a week, suddenly he's conjured up another thousand bucks in charges for things he claims he did after i fired him, then almost everyday for about 6 months, he would fax me more and more invoices for more charges he dreamed up. he faxed threats, called me repeatedly yelling at my voice mail.

about a year after i fired him, he was interviewed by internal affairs.  the very day after his interview, he filed suit against me for yet more money.  but he didn't serve me right away. he waited until i was in the middle of the busiest season of the year for my business.  i guess he figured I was gonna be rich because the cop as found guilty, and i would just go running to hjim wth money, but when i put up a fight, he backed off the lawsuit. 

now he's onto his next escapade.  he's fabricated a story and filed a complaint against me at the barracks to gain access to the cop responsible for this mess.  the cop produces 3 trooper witnesses who scott claims in deposition will testify they had trouble with me.  yes, he said this under oath.

fact of the matter is, i never had trouble with any troopers, scott was just trying to discredit me in hopes that he would be awarded money if a lying trooper would bad mouth me. 

as it turned out, the troopers never showed up for the trial, the state police denied me the foil request on the false complaint made against me to protect their officers, and when i filed an appeal for the information, i was sent a denial on official letterhead, that the time frame to request this information has expired.   Hmm, so now there's an expiration date on my rights. note that there was a 30 day time frame pass between the first denial, and the appeal.

scott needs money, the felony conviction in the Laci Peterson case has cost him dearly, so he decides to crank up the lawsuit once again.  he couldn't prove he did any work.  the judgement was for $0.00   however, i've got over 30.000.00 in attorney fees to protect me from bernstein and i still owe more to the attorney. actually, scott  owes it to the attorney.  scott owes me.  i paid him almost 20,000.00, and he refused the evidence i paid him for, and he claims he has.

to this day, 4 years later, i am still being harassed and monitored by bernsteins loosers.  he hires welfare cheats.  he convinces them, they are doing a service to keep an eye on me.   possibly he should realize it's a felony to mess with a federal witness. possibly he should realize i'm taking pictures, and i hope to take credit for his incarceration.

bernstein was trained in acting.  or so he claims under oath, but then he commited perjury more then once, so that might be another one of his lies.  he lies,, he steal, he cries.  he threatens,  do not hie bernstein.  check him out, and i don't mean online he has numerous sites to boast his successes, none of which have yet to be proven true  do a background check, he has been incarcerated more then once.  the most recent on a weapons charge for menacing potential clients in his home office.  yes, that was in january 2012.  it is now march 2012.

if anyone is lookig for a credible witness to help put this creep behind bars, you'll know the proper avenue to contact me. otherwise, beware scott bernstein.  he is nothing more than a drug addict.
