Family Reader Service - CMTY READERS CL - Digitcom Services Telemarketer Purchased Number Lakewood Colorado

Received call fromm 800-845-2074.  Call answered and party on sending end was directly informed that this number is registered on the FEDERAL Do Not Call List.  Asked for number to be removed from their data base.  Call terminated.  NOTE:  I did not let them give me their sales pitch.

After researchiing number re-contacted company back and I asked how did they get this number, siince the number has only been active for about a week. 

Was informed that my cable company refered us to them.  Informed company that if they called ever again the FCC, FTC, Attorney General and BBB would be notified. Tried sales pitch again. Call terminated.

Turned around and called my cable company and informed them that if I received another 800 number call and I can trace it back to them they would be hearing from my Attorney with court papers. 

Telemarketing calls was why we changed our number in the first place.  But getting 800 calls when the phone number has been activated for only one week, come on  give us a break.
