Fanbox, in addition to all bad stories about their polices, is also known for its almost invisible technique to rip of people from their own money. They way they do that is by offering a virtual money in access of $250 to $500 with excpectation that people will use them to advertise their own or other blogs, posts, and products, both within the Fanbox or outisde of it. A delay in cashing people's earnings for 90 days bring people to a dilemma what to do: cancel their account and all money they have earned so far or pay Fanbox processing fees as well as late payment fees from their own pocket and wait for the future possibility to get the Fanbox promised to pay.

By the time when people face this situation they might have several hundred dollars in their account, which appear from a thin air. My Fanbox account didn't do anything, no posts, no blogs, and no advertisements whatsoever. In spite of my inactivity in Fanbox, which I have done simply to test their rip-off techniques, I have 'earned' $365. I was given $500 twice in a row within days. Over $700 have been taken by Fanbox for a so-called 'utilization' - still a mystery to every member of this community of millions of people.

The cash out payments are delayed for 90 days only for a reason to force people to pay Fanbox 'processing fees' and their "late payment fees" majority of people are not even aware of. Since opening my account in July this year I was given a processing of $11 and a late payment fees of $10+$10+$5 including penalty. Let me ask everyone a question: why would you pay a single penny to anything you didn't do?

I have rejected this IPL offer right from the beginning when I open an account with the Fanbox. Still, I was given $1,000 of viral money to invest. Guess what - the Fanbox did the investment by itself and charge me with all these fees. I think, if the Fanbox can't make a proper investment, then they should quit this business and stop asking people to use their credit cards, bank accounts, and PayPal money to pay their rip-off fees they invented. Apparently, thousands of people don't see the way the Fanbox is depleting people of their bank account. It has been known (see other reports on this site) that the Fanbox even managed to conduct unauthorized withdrawal of money form members' credit cards, bank accounts, and PayPal. DO NOT GIVE FANBOX ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, CREADIT CARD NUMBERS, OR PASSWORDS. REPLACE YOU PASSWORDS TO ACCESS YOU PAYPAL ASOP!!!

That is a Fanbox method of ripping people off. My personal opinion that the Fanbox Corp. should be tried for extortion in the court of law.

Anyone receive this phishing email - I can prove it

AUTHOR: Phishing - ()

POSTED: Saturday, January 11, 2014

With each email it wrote I was making money for a charity, yet if you point it out, their response -"You can donate to charity if you want to, but it is not mandatory. FanBox will not take any money out of your earnings to donate, but will donate a percentage on your behalf to the charity you choose."

"You have nothing to lose, but your charity has a lot to gain."

"So many people in need can benefit from you selecting a cause."

Therefore I could claim this. Its collecting money for charity, yet nothing in writing, about who or where and how much, therefore I never really needed to give anything to a charity, I thought its not legal to collect money for a charity under false pretenses, it was prensented to me as making money for a charity or that I was earning money from boosting, getting money from someone else. Also the idea that poor people like our selves need money some way.

Watch how they change the subject when you point out its earnings in the email:

"The subject is your emails stating that you have made so much money - FanBox gives a portion of money to charities but it does not come from your earnings."

"FanBox gives all new members money to invest for ads and boosts called IPL, which means 'I'll Pay Later' (funding other users ads and our own ads). It is much like a credit card or a line of credit with a processing fee due each month for using this feature."

This is what your greeted with when you try to collect the money its either Paypal or Bank funding (Credit card or Debit Card) I recall the term Beta was always experimental with testing. Here is Fanbox terms of service:

"WARNING: FanBox is an experimental site as indicated by the word "Alpha" that appears under the FanBox logo at the top left of this web page. This means that its content and functionality is changing daily.

Please use FanBox for entertainment purposes only. In particular, your use of FanBox may never materialize or result in any direct or implied benefit. Any content, Earnings, time, payments, and relationships associated with your use of FanBox may be subject to modification or termination as described in the FanBox terms below."

"If you wish to use FanBox at a time when we can provide more certainty in any aspect of the site or its services, please check back for updates as FanBox continues to progress and mature."

"As if that weren't enough to scare you away: Proceed at your own caution as you may lose time, money, friends, and potentially even your first-born child. Just kidding about your first born. Although as you can see, our lawyers want us to make it clear that you should not use FanBox and come back later if you are uncomfortable with FanBox's current experimental status."

Theredfore with each Email I received, they wrote I earned a certain amount, yet their idea of earn is much different. there idea of giving charities is different. You may soon find, its just claim I earned the money, I doubt there really is money, I suspect its like those email where I won 45 million, yet I must give near $200 to get it.

Therefore stay away you can not trust them to tell the truth.
