That is correct, Deann Garner, a representive of Farm Bureau, has yet to pay my Insurance Co., American Family a $10000. medical claim and still has yet not paid me any medical claims that continues to grow. I have been unable to work and I still under-going medical treatment. I have lost a $30,000.- $40,000. income because of this accident. The accident dates back to 7/21/03, the claim # is 2152385. This has caused me and my family financial hardships.

We had to sell our recreational Van, Boat, Motorcycle to pay on some bills, we used to go camping/fishing/boating along with riding the motorcyle around site seeing. All of this along with family gatherings has been taken away from me. Our home improvement activities has came to an halt, I am no longer physically able to finish working on the house.

I know that I have 2 years to file this claim into court, I can not wait this long. This accident is so clear as to the damages that has been done and continues to become so clear that I will not be able to engage in any work related activities.

I cheated.....

AUTHOR: Nancy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 17, 2004

....I lived in La Porte for 18 years, so I do still see it in the footprints of my mind. :) I lived a block away from the boat docks on Stone Lake.

While I do miss the lakes, the swimming, fishing, boating, hitchhiking for snowmobile rides in the middle of Stone Lake (yeah, I really did that LOL), buckeye hunting at that buckeye tree that grows by the bridge over the canal between stone and pine lakes, visiting my daddy's grave in Pine Lake Cemetery, etc......

I do not miss having the honor of being the first person tossed IN the lake at the beginning of each summer (at 5' and 85 to 90 lbs, I was never anything but the smallest, so I got caught, picked up, tossed, and dunked first, Yee Haw!). Nor do I miss snowdrifts taller than I am.

I was totally upset when I learned they had the nerve to pave Hookman Road! Now where will all the high school kids go when they wanna go parking? It was much scarier and made for better stories when it was a dirt road. Not that I would have any experience personally ya know. :P

Thank you for your prayers. They are always appreciated. God Bless You Sir.

Good ole La Porte

Hi Mark. I want to respond more to the people who will be reading your report than to you. I think my reasons will become clear as you read what I have to say.

Some won't understand the true meaning behind your mentioning having to sell your boat, motorcycle, etc. to cover your bills. I am not sure I did totally, until I read where you lived.

Ahhh .. La Porte. 7 major lakes, lots of camping areas, country roads galore to go tooling around on your bike, apple orchards where you can pick yer own even (should you desire), 10 miles from Lake Michigan, 60 miles from the Windy City, and tons of Maple trees full of color each fall.

What would that town be without being able to head to Stone Lake and go fishing on a lazy summer day? Get tired of that, cruise the boat thru the canal over to Pine Lake and crank up that engine and let 'er rip!

You had the necessary toys to really enjoy the town and all it has to offer, but due to this insurance company, you have now lost them all. You worked hard to acquire them and now you have been forced to sell them to survive. This is wrong!

I spent the last 5 years basically homebound and in a wheelchair the majority of the time due to a prolonged illness. I remember all too well what it is like to sit inside and watch the world go by outside your window. It just sucks. While I am able to do things again now, I can never get back that time that was stolen from me due to the incompetence of some of the doctors I was dealing with.

I remember looking at my mountain bikes during those years and saying to myself 'one day I'm gonna ride those puppys again'. When my good bike was stolen before I had a chance to get strong enough to ride it again, it felt like my whole world was falling apart. I have an idea that is exactly how you felt when you had to sell your things to pay your bills.

I hope you get this settled quickly and also get well soon so you can enjoy your life again. While I can't offer you any advice on how to get this moving faster, I pray someone reading your report can.
