Farmers Insurance Group I cancelled my policy and they are now trying to say I owe them for the remaining part of the policy Los Angeles California

Show customers why they should trust your business over your competitors...
They kept saying I did not pay them but I had the cancelled checks to show that they did cash them, then i would have to fight that because they would cancel my policy so then they would reissue my policy charging me $10.00 so I would fight that $10.00. I finially got fed up with their problems and cancelled my policy and got insurance somewhere else so they then sent me a collection notice saying that I still owed them for the policy for 2 months after I cancelled the policy. I'm currently fighting them about the collection.

First of all, Farmers owns the collection agency it has sent you to. So they are collecting from both ends. You merely need to show them the policy you obtained else where and they should cancel flat. However being the chicken ---- company they are, they will probable try to short rate your policy. Threaten them with a good law suit and bad faith. It is ashame more peop;le do not see thru this company.
