FARMERS ONLY dating service took my money to upgrade to "Premium" for one month which is the ONLY way you can correspond with any other members.  As a Standard member, you may only view other members.  However, without my knowledge and consent, and like so many other service companies out there, they charged me after the month was up for three additional months!  They refuse to refund my money, then they deleted my Farmers Only account.  So they have defrauded me by taking my money AND not letting me have access to the account at the same time, which was paid up for 3 more months.  I am reporting it to my bank and to internet fraud services but people need to know that Farmers Only is not what the TV ads make it out to be.  The profiles "selected for me" were usually obese, the same ones over and over, some had no information on them at all, some were vulgar in nature, some were my own gender, and this is proof that they are not vetting the profiles before they even post them on their site.  They send the user profiles that are Standard members so that you can not communicate with them!!!  What is the use of that?  You and the other member MUST PAY in order to communicate.

THESE PEOPLE ARE AS FRAUDULENT AS ANY OTHER SERVICE OUT THERE.  Do NOT let them suck you in with their so-called country charm TV ads.  They are duping a lot of people.  Some of the profiles are faked.  Some members don't sign on for months at a time.  They send the user profiles that are outside your preferred age range, or where you are outside that user's preferred age range - why?  That serves no purpose.

But the worst is the money scam.  They sign you on for one month but will then continue to access your bank account without asking or telling you.  Then if you complain they will delete your account and still refuse to refund your money even though you have 3 months paid for.  This is ILLEGAL.

Farmers Only Too Big For Their Britches

AUTHOR: Red - ()

POSTED: Monday, October 27, 2014

i do agree with most of what Dee fron Texas reported. I would like add that it is so disheartening to think that companies like Farmer's Only can take funds from your account without any permission and through some miraculous loophole it is legal. If an individual did that it would be theft. it at least sounds as if the poster of the initial complaint had a dialog with this company, because in my case my bank account was accessed without my knowledge and Farmer's Only cannot seem to return my phone calls to discuss the matter at hand. It seems currently the only recourse I have is to stop future payments from occurring via my bank and leaving the folks at Farmer's Only voice messages asking for a return phone call.
