The wife and I drove about 30 mles to this resturant to get food and we were going to eat it at the drive-in movie. It took a long time to get the order. The looked in the bag and there were french fries in it and we told them we did not order those and the guy said just keep them and he would get the item we were missing.

We got to the movie and when we opened our sandwiches they were made wrong and I did not get th burger I ordered, it was supposed to be a double, but only had 1 beef pattie on it. The wife was alittle upset, the guy that was waiting on us had his britches down and all you could see was his underware.

I called to toll free number for Sonic and someone took down the information and would foward it to the manager and district manager. NEVER heard a word from anyone and 10 days later I get a post card in the mail that offered me 1 free sandwich... hell I had 2 bad burgers!

These clowns lost me for good and they are planning on building a new store in Danville, VA. I will write a letter to our local newspaper and let them know what kind of service you get from Sonic.

I just wanted to say that not ALL Sonic Drive-Ins operate like this. I am an assistant manager at my store and am looking into an associates position and I take my job seriously and am always looking for ways to improve our operation overall. Even though I am miles away from this particular store, I want to apologize on behalf of Sonic. There are many of us who like our jobs and really do care about customer service. First off, NONE of my employees would ever be caught working with their pants half hanging off. It is unprofessional and distasteful. And second, I cannot belive it took that many times to still not get the order right. A manager should have taken over after it was wrong a second time. And if they did and were no help I am sorry. The fact that all you recieved was a coupon in the mail does not suprise me. That seems to be the quick fix solution that never really works. On our side of that though, and I am not suggesting this was your intentions, we get soooo many fake calls and replace so much food for free to people just looking for a free meal that sometimes it is hard to belive some customers when an "entire oreder is messed up".

I really believe that this happened to you given the rest of the information though. I just hope you will give it another shot. Look around, if you see people working, you are going to have a better chance at a nice experience than if people are standing around and don't even look presentable. I sincerely hope i can convince you to just try a differnt store or if you have a problem again, dont waste your time on the 800 number, get direct contact information for the stores supervisor, not the general manager of the store but their boss. I know mine definitely takes immediate action on ANY customer complaints. Good luck and visit me sometime in Missouri, hopefully I can change your mind! Thanks for the input also!
