The first delivery of a parcel failed - I didn't know about delivery date/time, so I missed the delivery.

I contacted FastWay  customer service 01/10/2014 and organized redelivery for the next day afternoon – from 1:30 pm till 5 pm. The next day I was at home all the time. I waited till 4.30 pm and after that I rang to FastWay. They told me that the redelivery already occurred, but no one was at the given address. On Fastway web site I found that the second redelivery attempted at the morning 09:44, although it was set on the afternoon.

But I was at home all the day, so I am 100% sure that there were no delivery at the morning – the driver simply created fake record about failed attempt!

Eventually (06/10/2014) I picked up the parcel from their depot by myself, as I realised that they will never deliver it to my place!

I wasted all day 02/10/2014 waiting for the delivery, then I spent about 3 hours traveling from my place to their depot and back, to summarise the whole experience was very frustrating.

My first email was about the wrong time when the driver attempted to make a delivery (morning instead of afternoon) – I received apologies from the Fastway (07/10/2014). My next email addressed to their Manager (Auckland branch) with complains about such bad service (13/10/2014). There was no reply.

I sent two more emails to their Manager with the same result – no reply (15/10/2014 and 21/10/2014).

I believe that Fastway breached ‘Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act’: they didn’t deliver goods to my place.

 I am absolutely sure that a driver didn’t make a second delivery at 09:44 02/10/14. He simply created fake record for their system!

So what I have done- I applied to Dispute Tribunal and hearing of my case will be in January 2015.
