FCNB Speigel Eddie Bauer Ripoff Beaverton Oregon

After moving 10 months ago, I was not receiving my statements from FCNB (even though the proper change of address was submitted to the post office well in advance). Each month for the past 10 months, I would call and complain that I had not received my statement.

For the first month, they didn't have my new address, so, I gave it to them over the phone, the second month, they said that my address was too long and it was cutting off the apt. #, by the third month, I don't even remember what the excuse was. Last month was the first time that I was not able to get through to someone and speak to them in regards to this.

Because I did not want to incurr any late fees, etc. I phoned in a payment last month and was willing to pay the $8.00 charge for this service. This month, once again, I hadn't received a statement - I mailed off my payment and marked "final payment" in the notes section of the check. Unfortunately, that check has not cleared yet.

After reading what some other customers have gone through with this company, I am planning on obtaining my credit reports to make sure they didn't report me for non-payment of something funky like that. I am extremely upset about this matter and am definitely willing to participate in a class action lawsuit!!!
