Another voice from the ripped-off population speaks out! I always send my payments at least 2 weeks in advance of the due date, however last month, they posted the payment one day after the due date, hitting me with the $35 late fee. And guess what?? They are doing it to me again this month! I sent my payment for July the 2nd week of June, however as of today, July 7, it still has not posted to my bank. I am willing to bet that this payment will post on July 9 - one day after the due date, and I am going to get stuck again.

I was astounded by the number of people they are being allowed to do this to - and following the advice of one of the other complaintants, filed a complaint at http://www.doj.state.or.us/FinFraud/ConCompForm.htm in hopes of getting some satisfaction. I urge all of you to do the same! We should not be forced to take this blatant misuse of billing practice!

OK, here is some new information -
First - If you have attempted to access the FCNB site, only to find yourself re-directed to BBT Online, be advised that BBT has NOT taken over First Consumers National Bank. They took over First Citzens National Bank, and cannot help you at all. Why we are being re-directed to this site is a mystery.

Second - One of the other posts regarding FCNB gave the following site as a place to get information and make payments www.cardmemberservices.net - when I went to this site and attempted to enter my FCNB/Spiegel account number, I keep getting an invalid number message.

I will not be sending them any more of my hard-earned money, credit status be damned!
