Purchased a dozen "purebred" Ayam Cemani chicks. Took several months to get them. Once they arrived you could tell they weren't of high quality. Thought we would pick the best and cull the rest. Put about 100 eggs in the incubator to find that less than half are even remotely close to being dark. The rest are either extremely low quality or a breed unrelated.
Seems that they have cross bred them and are selling the chicks that closest resemble the actual ayam cemani's. Which would explain why it took so long to receive them. Several have also had deformities that they died from. Tried to contact several times and received no reply.

They actually contacted me by replying to an email I sent. They asked for pics, I sent them several emails with pictures. They mentioned several times they paid $600 for a rooster with red waddles from Greefire farms.
They stated multiple times that they would happily send me out new chicks, which should have arrived last week. They kept insisting that I remove this report. I stated I would remove it once everything was resolved.
I also stated that I was getting ready to cull all chickens that were not quality, which is 10 of the 12 I purchased. At this point, they stopped responding to all my emails and have not contacted me in over a week.
I do still have the chickens as they stopped responding, I decided it was better not to cull yet.
