This is a classic up front fee scam. Asking for a $1,000 upfront fee with the false promise of it being refundable. The contract they send out clearly allows them to keep the moeny when the transaction doesn't close for any reason. The website is only two years old. The company is registered through a private agent to keep the members from the public, it has a virtual office so nobody can go see them in person, the people involved have no verifiable backgrounds prior to the date of the web site being created, the private placement they say they opperate is not registered with the SEC making it very questionable. The names of the ceo and other company members are characters from history, common names used by scam artists, or names of other ceo's and business people that show up in online searches to give them the apperance of being legitimate, the press releases about the company are all the ones you can easily create online to accompany your website to make it appear credible, their fund raising capital was investigated by another rip off report poster and he found no evidence they ever received funds from the false offering, and the list goes on and on.

Don't give these scammers your money. When I confronted them of course they got very defensive as all con artists do trying to reverse the accusations etc.

Never pay money up front to people who promise to deliver products, or services based on money back garantees. These people know you cannot get your money back unless you file a lawsuit. They also know the cost of the lawsuit is more than they stole. In the event they do get sued they can simply shut down the company, change names, change phone numbers, and move on to the next victims.

More liars!!

AUTHOR: GENERAL COUNSEL - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 13, 2014

This is a complete lie! First of all, we don’t search for buyers because we are the ultimate buyer. If you knew anything about our business, you would know that. Contact my company with any evidence, or provide any documentation that we look for buyers. You are a plant, and I’m quite sure we know who you are involved with.

And the biggest lie is that we charge a fee to find buyers!! Get your facts straight before you accept an assignment from an idiot!

This matter is being pursued legally, and this website will be forced to provide your contact information to be included in the deformation lawsuit.

I ran into this company as well

AUTHOR: Realtor773 - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 13, 2014

I was recently contacted by this company and told they had a buyer for my properties. I was then told about the $1,000.00 fee requred to be put in contact with the alleged buyer. I immediately knew something wasn't right. Being a former realtor and in the industry for over 10 years I have encountered similar fee requests over the years. Early on in my career I was taught never to pay money in advance to people who wanted to help me, or my clients sell their properties. I was told about several realtors and sellers who tried this and then when the buyer fell through they lost all of the money. Buyer beware.

Our experiences have been great with Featherstone

AUTHOR: SVG - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2014

I read the above complain and must say that my group's experiences with Featherstone have been very pleasant. My firm has done business with Featherstone on multiple occasions and we have no problem paying their refundable placement deposit. Not only is it protected by a contract, but in the rare case that a deal cannot be done, Featherstone has always refunded our deposits back (and within a matter of hours).

We will continue to work with Featherstone in a similar fashion moving forward and we feel that the refundable placement deposit is absolutely necessary from their position. In this industry, there are many entities and individuals that misrepresent their access to/ownership of assets. Requirement of such a minimal refundable deposit tends to weed out some of the bad apples and ensure that nobody's time is wasted.

John Goodson

AUTHOR: J Larkin - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2014

John Goodson contacted Mr. Goodman our Asset Manager concerning a portfolio that he professed to own. Mr. Goodman perform the necessary due diligence and also stated to John Goodson, that there is a contractual refundable deposit required for our services, which is not illegal.

John Goodson referred to it as an upfront fee asked for an escrow account, and Mr. Goodman said no.

Then, John Goodson contacted FeatherStone via the contact form on our website stating information that he was a qualified institutional entity and would like to speak with our CEO concerning placing properties and registering as a qualified bond buyer (which you certainly are not).

I replied to John Goodson and stated that we only work with institutional firms that are registered and I would have Mr. Goodman contact him for an evaluation, unaware that Mr. Goodman had already been in touch with him.

This is a despicable act that you have perpetrated! And then to have a website posted it without even seeking the truth from the company whose credibility has now been placed in question.

Our company had responded to you professionally, you were told “no” with regards to your request, there were only two communications with you now this. You make these disgusting statements and then for some reason you don’t want to attach your name to your work of art. Then allow me to do it for you, John Goodson.

As you are very much aware, you have been contacted by our General Counsel.

Scammer angry at being caught

AUTHOR: scottmmanson - ()

POSTED: Thursday, July 10, 2014

This BS report was written by someone who tried to contract with FeatherStone but apparently Mr. Millionaire did not even have $1,000 for a refundable deposit.  See complaintant's web site in which this purportedly wealthy entrepreneur teachs others to become rich but yet apparently does not even have $1000 to his name.

Just an example of the pot wrongfully calling the kettle green.
