I also am dealing with FDRS. I called and asked to speak with the legal dept.
They said it was in NY. The web site is CCDN credit card deffense network. That is not what comes up when you type in the web address. Any way I asked for copies of the registered letters being sent to my creditors, they replied with " That is proprietary information" I replied " If you are imposing my signature on these documents then are they not my property?" they changed the subject. I just want proof that my creditors are indeed being contacted.
And to make the matter worse if you read the contract when they sue your creditors the settlement that you receive is only 25% of what they acctually get.

Sweet treat

BULL Margaret!

Spare us your cognitive dissonance. Why don't you let us know when you are debt free. But, I really wouldn't accept any information from an employee.

FDRS does what it says it will do and charges what it says it will charge

AUTHOR: Margaret - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 06, 2009

I just want to put in a good reference for Federal Debt Relief System. They have done everything they said they would do and charged not a penny more than they originally told me. They are honest, ethical, and effective. I'm just 6 weeks from completion of their 18 month program, so I know what I'm talking about. Plus the education you will get is absolutely invaluable. I recommend this program to anyone drowning in credit card debt.

FDRS and other debt tremination companies are a scam

AUTHOR: Thetruth - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, August 07, 2008

I want to make this clear for anyone considering joining FDRS or any other company that offers debt termination services. It is pretty much a scam.

The scam is based on the bogus "no money lent" argument, where the claim is made that credit card banks cannot loan money legally. Through strange leaps of logic, the scammers claim that credit card banks are actually operating illegally, and so you never really borrowed any money when you used your credit cards! Therefore, you don't really need to pay anything back. You just have to follow their system and the debts will go away because the banks don't want this knowledge disclosed to the public!

I realize this may sound ridiculous at first glance, but the con artists are very convincing, California State Attorney General and there are dozens of websites promoting this dangerous scam. They refer to publications by the Federal Reserve Board, the Uniform Commercial Code, the Truth in Lending Act, and other public laws to bolster their claims and give an aura of legitimacy to their "program." I've talked with numerous consumers who have been conned out of $2,500, $5,000, even up to $15,000 because they believed the hype that these snake-oil salesmen were peddling. If you're $30,000, $50,000, or $100,000 deep in credit card debt, it can be very tempting to believe in a magic pill. What if you could pay someone 30% of the debt and make the rest of the debt disappear?

As tempting as the promoters make it sound, the debt elimination techniques they are using simply do not work. About the only thing they accomplish is getting you sued by your creditors. As you might expect, creditors hate this scam, and they come down hard on people trying to use this bogus "no money lent" system. You don't need to take my word for this. Check out the complaints on ripoffreport.com about Liberty Resources, a debt elimination scam that was shut down in Ohio. Or do some research on New Leaf Associates out of Florida, a scam that was shut down by the Florida Attorney General after consumers were ripped off for millions of dollars. I've personally talked to people who were caught up in both of these scams, as well as others who were involved in scams that have not yet been shut down.

Folks, there is no free lunch. The only thing such "debt termination services" will do for you is take your money. Their legal theories are total nonsense, and the courts do not recognize their arguments. These are the same people who also claim you don't need to pay your income taxes either. As tempting as it might be to try one of these services, you'll only get yourself in deeper trouble with your creditors.

If you have already been ripped off by FDRS please report them to the Federal Trade Commission ,The
California State Attorney General as well as your own state attorney general ,and the FBI.

With Regard to being "Ripped off" Just not the Case:

AUTHOR: Jayanonymous1 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, June 30, 2008

I am writing to you with regard to all of the negative comments on Federal Debt Relief Systems. I guess to each his own however I think these people who are filing complaints are just as immature as children. They get themselves into trouble via credit card debt and other types of overspending and then when they find a company such as this one to help them out of their troubles. Now if they are not on the same page as to how they operate and the understanding is confusing then they throw temper tantrums like little babies and ultimately cause problems for companies who are legitimately trying to help people in need.

Basically what I am trying to say is that people in trouble with their finances are going to complain about everything all the time. They will never be happy and the fact of the matter is this is a legitimate company who has helped many people out of millions of debt and just because they are not willing to give out proprietary information about their company and how they go about all of the ins and outs of the daily business, people are just going to complain. Most of the time people have nothing better to do with their time then to harass people who are trying to help people out of trouble and debt.
I seriously suggest that if you are not willing to trust companies like this then do NOT get involved and handle your money issues yourself and DO NOT rely on others to get you out of your problems you created yourself.

This company was set up to help people in need and that is EXACTLY what they are doing and just because a few people are not happy with the results they received they are going to try to screw it up for everyone else. Nice Job you complaining miserable human beings. In every business regardless of they nature of the business there will be unhappy people in this world who will find something to complain about. No where in the information given to you does it say that they are a "NON PROFIT" organization. Everyone has to make money and they money they recovered should go to them for all of the work that is involved. Just because you want to be gready and not only charge the Hell out of your credit card, enjoy all the fruits of the card, enjoy all the items purchased on the card , including but not limited to meals out, entertainment, clothing, what ever it may be but now you have the Audacity to want to enjoy the return the company gets for getting you out of debt,???? People where is your head? Dumb Question.... We know where it is.. Anyway all I am trying to say is that NOT everyone is going to be happy with EVERYTHING! If you want help and sincerely want out of debt contact these people and they will help you but they are NOT going to do it for FREE or just because you Need their help. Yes they are going to charge you and Yes they are going to make a Profit and Yes they may need your help in getting some results. People use your head!

Good luck to those who are NEVER happy with ANYTHING and Best of Luck to those who are in trusting your situation to those willing to help: NOTING IN LIFE IS FREE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO SUE A BANK: There are COSTS Involved! Pay the Fees if you want their HELP:
