I received a call from a male person who had a foreign accent. He claimed I had been selected to receive $10,000 that would be delivered today, due to not having filed bankruptcy, and good credit.
The $10,000 would be tax free and could be used any way. He gave me a code, RK678, and told me to call the number 202-239-8451 as soon as our conversation ended.
Then he needed some information, the first being my age. I would not release my age to him and he got quite upset and said he need the information or my call to the number he gave me would not be any good.
He said the money was from the Federal Grant Department in Washington, DC.
I did not give him my age or any other information, and also, did not call the number. Just wanted to report this as it sounded sour.
