I am a 60 years old man, hardworking, just a regular joe. I'm a tax paying citizen and have the right to express my disgust about this company called FedEx. My wife sold a medical equipment, sensitive and expensive to a customer in Texas. We went to a FedEx Kinko's store to ship the package. The attendant asked us if we wanted to insure the package and also wanted signature required on delivery. We chose both options, we insured it for lower value to cover physical damage, then the equipment could be repaired, but we asked for the recipient's signature. The attendant made ??a serious mistake: she checked the option signature requested on the paper form but failed to do the same on the computer screen. The package followed the destination and was delivery and left by FedEx at the front door, the signature was not required and the package was stolen, we don't really know what happened to it. The recipient was at home all day long and no one knocked the door to deliver a package. In fact I believe that FedEx lost the package which was worth US$ 3,500.00.

The equipment was purchased in Jan of 2012 and had a one year warranty. The insurance for $300.00 covered cost of having to return the machine to the manufacturer for repairs or replacement of the device. We never imagined that there would be a problem because we had required a signature at the time of delivery. Since this was an error on the behalf of Kinko's/ FedEx we feel like we should be compensated for the true value of the machine above what it was insured for. FedEx simply left the package at the front door and did not get a signature showing that it was delivered. Fedex's failure to enter it in the computer constitutes a complete error on their behalf above and beyond the insured value. We had asked them at shipping point what was the best way to insure it and that is what we told. We paid for the signature required for delivery-they simply did not key it into the computer. The company refuses to pay for the merchandise that was lost. Were submitted all required documents and they flatly refused to pay for my merchandise that was in their possession.

The only thing I can say now is that FedEx simply stole me. It's not fair, I trusted in this company and now they don't want to replace the equipment, and now I need to buy another one to give to the client!

The FedEx Claim department realy pissed me off, then I decided to build a website to publish this and all the documents referred to the case.

Yes, that email really was sent to me by Kenny-boy.  Even worse, it was actually sent to me AFTER FedEx gave him what he wanted.

I did save the entire string of emails sent between me and Kenny-boy, but it did get a little heated and a lot of it would be inappropriate to post in an open forum and I don't feel like censoring it right now.  Even part of what I did post got redacted.

Jim, was that really an email from Robinson?

AUTHOR: Raymond M. - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 18, 2012

It would be a huge assumption to believe an email like that came from Robinson. Though it is an example of what I was insinuating about Robinson, it is an extreme well beyond that which I was trying to describe.

The main reason I question the legitimacy of that 'Robinson email' is that there doesn't seem to be any response from Jim Martin to justify such atrocity from Robinson. The only response from Jim Martin was a brief one with a screen shot from the FedEx site which showed a detail about insurance, which he also included an adjective "dumbass". Why Robinson would spend so much time with that simple response would only indicate that he would be suffering extreme mental instability. (If you, Jim Martin, forged that email, then that description would have to apply to you.) What in Jim Martin's response reveals that he had "bad childhood"?? Where in Jim Martin's response is there anything "heartless" or full of "rage"?? There is none. This email appears to be composed by someone with a lower IQ, or atleast poorly educated, yet it slanders Jim Martin as having a low IQ?? The blatant hypocrisy of that 'Robinson email' would be incredible. It takes little to no imagination to see "rage" in the 'Robinson email'. The extremely foul and immature language suggest a very troubled person with anger that stems far back into that person's life. To evaluate further with that bizarre email would give a psychologist a heyday.

Briefly put, most people would say that whomever wrote that email is a freak.

You can bet your bottom dollar Robinson is reading these responses. He is either sulking with "rage", and/or cowardly continuing to waste his life by vindictively surfing the web in attempts to find out who people are; he has already gone out of his way to show that he has nothing more worth while in his life that he'd rather do. Hopefully, for his sake, he'll realize that he doesn't have enough time in his life to take on the vast population that would try to tell him that he's foolishly blaming other's for his own mistakes. Until he realizes such, he will continue to make his own problems, blame others for them, live a hateful life, and grow old and die. I guess that will leave a Robinson legacy that he was a superior human being that was above smiley-face masked police officers that were really hiding their monkey faces while being unable to walk erect due to the vegetables up their rear ends. People like Robinson will be glad to see Robinson gone. The more compassionate people however, whom Robinson had attacked, will regret that Robinson chose to use his vain behavior in attempts to conceal his weak self esteem which were only a self-fulfilling prophecy of his own life-wasting problems. That would be especially true, of course, if Robinson was the composer of that ludicrous email.

Personally, I don't know of too many people that would sell their soul out for a crummy three grand. If that email wasn't written by a very evil person, it would be interesting to see Robinson try to define what exactly an evil person is.

Actually, the case was no exactly closed, and it represents that a problem continues with Robinson indefinately.

AUTHOR: Raymond M. - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 17, 2012

With the same mentality that Robinson used to justify his gross demands, he now states this situation is "CLOSED". Is it really? The letter from FedEx clearly indicated it was only gesture of goodwill, not an admission of wrong doing. It is very likely that this irrational, self centered, and extremely uncooth Robinson was simply pure disgust to FedEx. With that and the fact that Robinson was a rare example of a troubled individual that was simply wasting FedEx time, FedEx patronized Robinson with a settlement with the term 'goodwill'.

Is it over for Robinson? Not by a long shot. If he doesn't do some soul searching soon, then the cliche 'not in his lifetime' will soon ring true. It's rather sad that Robinson was so willing to show people that this took priority in his life to the point of it destructively consuming him. He was completely obsessed with his vice and, if he had anything of value in his life, he was willing to forfeit it while adolescently groping for what he turned into as chump change. Sixty years old, and his miscontrued sense of rightseousness was the most important thing in his life. Apparently, he has nothing else more important to live for. That is, and always has been, and sadly will continue to be of his own choice and, obviously, his own doings.

Robinson doesn't realize how little exposure he really received. The little feedback he saw was nothing more than blogging. How much time did Robinson waste on IP addresses in an attempt to learn of sources? He also conveniently didn't reply to or answer the legitimate questions provided by the more rational responses to his tantrum. Again, he showed his imaginary viewers that he had nothing better to do with his days other than that crap. Now that he's done with that, would he prefer us to pity him for everything good in his life that he has forfeited and that, in all likelihood, Robinson is a bitter, very lonely, old man? He will live the last diminishing portion of his life relaying that his fellow human beings have chimpanzee faces, disrespecting police officers with yellow smiley faces, a donkey with a carrot in his butt, and indicating that he promotes use of the middle finger. All this at age...how old are you again, Robinson? Were you mature enough to go to UPS, DHL, or your local post office and ask them how that corporation would handle your insurance? Of course you hadn't. You were too busy cut and pasting pictures of those companies while wasting your life away. Still nothing better to do with your life, Robinson? Let me help. You may hunt and pick at my information. If you get any leads, then you may discover that I have a major investment with the UPS corporation. If you had any credibility what so ever, I'd thank you for the reference. But you don't.

If anyone really owed Robinson anything, when will Robinson take a good look at HIS face and realize what kiddy pictures he should assign to himself? Perhaps he should humble himself by doing so soon. Since Robinson seems to have chosen to live his life like there is no God, for his sake, he'd better be right.

Looking forward to that FedEx follow up!

AUTHOR: llchurches - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 30, 2012

Just imagine if everyone in this world was irrational as the OP, Ken. No one would take responsibility for their own actions. They would put minimal effort in (the under insuranced package), then expect everyone else to cover his butt for his own poor decisions. In this case, that includes every other FedEx customer, whom properly insures their shipments, that will pay higher shipping/insurance costs thanks to irresponsible persons like Ken. What this Ken is failing to perceive is that, if everyone was like himself, he would be wide open for everyone to attack him for not only everything he does wrong, but also everything THEY do wrong.

People of Ken's nature are often mistrusting, paranoid, and equally dishonest. It would be interesting to physically have seen that "$3500" item to evaluate it's true replacement cost. Ken stated he insured for only "damage" (then demands non-paid for insurance for shipping errors), yet the damage could easily have far exceeded his small insured amount. What form of the required 'proof-of-value' did Ken provide?

Ken? You do know that there are people that act like you whom justify exaggaration and lieing when they are inconvenienced...even when it is of their own doing. How may we distinguish you from those dispicable people with behavior similar to your own?

It is very sad to see a person that lived 60 years and still has this backwards mindset. With all this time and energy Ken has wasted in lieu of other aspects in life while trying to recover for his own mistake, he has clearly shown that he has nothing more important in his life to spend his time on. If he doesn't change his views soon, he will die an empty life while mooching to the very end. And everyone will remember him for just that.

Status Updated: FedEx sent us an email and has made an offer.

AUTHOR: Ken Robinson - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 29, 2012

This is the Fedex e-mail:

Dear Mr. Robinson,

Your complaint has come to my attention and I have reviewed with our Claims Department.  First, I apologize that we did not meet our expectations for your shipment and for any inconvenience that may have caused.  I have reviewed the FedEx copy of the Ground Order Form and see that you did indeed request the Direct Signature delivery signature option, so that FedEx Ground would obtain a signature from someone at the recipients address upon delivery.

The root cause of the problem seems to be that the employee at the FedEx Office location did not enter the delivery signature option in the computer when you tendered your shipment.  Consequently, the FedEx Ground driver had no reason to know or require a signature for delivery.   As you no doubt already know from talking to our Claims Department, FedExs liability for loss/damage is limited to the Declared Value of the shipment and that is why your claim was paid for $300 plus a refund of the transportation charges.

I appreciate that based on the expectation that FedEx would obtain a signature upon delivery that you didnt think it was necessary to declare the full value for replacement, rather than only declaring the value of repair in the event of damage.  Even though not liable under the terms of carriage for any loss or damage in excess of $300, Ive asked our Claims Department to approve a one-time exception to cover your claim in full.

In exchange for this exception, I would ask that you either update your hatefedex.tk site to reflect a fair conclusion to this incident or take it down completely.  As for kinkos.tk, fedexkinkos.tk, fedex.co.cc, fedex.me.uk and fedexoffice.me.uk, those domains and subdomains include our marks alone and are not patently complaint oriented URLs so I would ask that you cancel those registrations.   Please let me know if this is acceptable to you and I will then follow-up with the Claims Department.

Sincerely,

William J. Brown

Declared Value is not the same as Cost of Repair.

"10.000 visitors" equals 10 not 10,000

"1.000.000.000 times" equals 1 not 1,000,000,000

Your complaint is good advertising for FedEx because you clearly stated that they honored the agreement by paying the declared value of the lost package.

POSTED: Saturday, May 26, 2012

If you want hits then I hope you get them.  Because it will show every single person that reads your claim that...

1. FedEx made a mistake
2. FedEx paid for their mistake based on YOUR declared value
3. You get's upset because you tried to be cheap and under declared the value
4. You throw a tantrum on the Internet because you now have to pay for YOUR mistake

By the way you seem to think that other shipping companies would be better.  Have you even looked at some of the other reports?  For one example why don't you take a look at UPS and Crawford Insurance.

Go ahead Dudes! As more rebuttals I have, more visitors will go to my website!

AUTHOR: Ken Robinson - (USA)

And more words will be added to Search Engines Optimization (SEO)

I got almost 10.000 visitors in my website and answered up to 200 messages written by REAL CUSTOMERS (here we have just 1% of real customers) supporting me and also complaining about Fedex and Kinko's Services. I agree, 200 is not a huge number...

I already lost money, it's fact! I can be blammed 1.000.000.000.000 times,

Fedex/ Kinko's are losing new customers. Nobody wants to get shipping services by companies that don't consider a real signature requirement (even being payed) and lose your package.

Congrats to DHL, UPS, EMS, TNT, and USPS! I recommend you a lot! (these words are just to up the vision of this website on SEO).

Go ahead Dudes, I'm plenty with the results!

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, May 25, 2012

Why are you posting the same report again?  Do you really think you are going to get different answers as soon as people look at your links?

The fact is that you tried to be cheap and UNDER INSURED a piece of equipment by only declaring it had a value of $300.  FedEx made a mistake and as a result they PAID your claim based on YOUR declared value of $300 as well as the cost of shipping.

No matter how many web sites you create, or how many posts you make it won't change this.  It also won't change that you would not have gotten any other shipper to pay more than your declared value in the same situation.   The lesson you need to learn is that when you declare a value of an item you better declare the FULL value.
