In Nov 2013 I purchased four- Feit Electric ECO BULB CFL 6 pack bulbs from Home Depot. I have had a few bulbs go bad before the 2 year warranty has expired, and they shipped new bulbs out. Now I have another one that went out in a hallway that gets minimal usage. Feit told me this time I have to provide a receipt since I have called in warranty bulbs in the past. So since I use their warranty like it states I need to keep a receipt? Punishing the consumer. Their warranty printed on the box does not identify consumers must keep a receipt to get replacement bulbs. I only bought these bulbs since they had such a good warranty printed on the box and are the company is located near my residence. I was never told in the past to keep a receipt. Why now?  Shame on you Feit.

Why are you so defensive? I stated facts and you come off like an irate idiot!

I'm no spammer. I don't save my receipts like I should have, but after the first few replaced bulbs, I assumed I didn't need to. Now all of a sudden I do. Learned my lesson. Also learned not to buy FEIT bulbs. Other companies have better customer service. And not as rude!  You would never see MAX Lite, Great Value/Walmart, GE responding like this on the web. Shame on you for having NO MANNERS!

No shame on YOU for being SO DENSE!!!! They told you the reason, YOU have called a LOT to get bulbs replaced. NOW, they require a PROOF OF PURCHASE. They can only trust so far before they have to see if YOU are just a scammer getting FREE PRODUCT from them. All YOU need to do is provide some form of proof. I have found that most businesses will accept a debit purchase print out if it is itemized. If not then REALLY shame on YOU for NOT protecting yourself. Would it have really killed YOU to put the receipt in an envelope and put it in your files?? No, it wouldn't have. YOU ASSUMED and when you assume you do so at YOUR OWN RISK!!!! Funny how this is ON YOU to provide proof yet YOU try and turn it around on them because THEY don't trust you. Don't YOU realize the fraud that goes on EVERYWHERE?? WHY should there be shame on them for YOUR problem??
