Felicia Cox Felicia Hogue caregiver services, nurses aide, cna, failed, ripoff, slander, Killeen , Copperas Cove Texas

I found an ad for Felicia Cox (AKA Felicia Hogue) on Craigslist offering services to care for elderly or children, she even posted pictures of herself and children on her ad. Ad stated she has a nurses aide certification, first aid etc.. I contacted Ms. Cox and she seemed great. She even sent me over by email a photo copy of her military id, nurses aide certification, first aid certificate. 

She wanted $9 an hour and I figured I would just round to $10 an hour. I wanted to start off with 3 hours 3x a week of her going to my father's home. He lost his leg recently and is learning to adjust. He also has a list of other medical issues that I told Ms. Cox about. Ms. Cox seemed to understand, showed compassion and didn't mind going over to meet my father. She even took him for a haircut and everything went fine. We even had text message conversations (which I have) that show she had no issues and I spoke with my father and no issues on his end. I gave Ms. Cox $30 that day. 

Ms. Cox was to come again Monday, but my father was admitted into the hospital. I text Ms. Cox to let her know. I felt bad because I knew she was missing days and money. When my father returned home, I text Ms. Cox being it was not her day to work, I told her it was no big deal if she did or didn't, but if she wanted and had the time she could go there. She had prior plans so she said she might not be able to but she could the next day. 

On Friday, Ms. Cox went to my fathers home. I went earlier that morning to drop off money for her. I put $60 in an envelope and had her name written on the envelope that said for today and next visit. She was to return Saturday. On Saturday, my father called me to inform me that Felicia didn't show up. I text Felicia with no response. I sent another text and she wrote back stating that she just got out of the shower and was up all night sick but she was heading over there in 30. I sent another text asking if she was okay. She again stated she was better than the night before. I again asked if she was going to be okay to go there. She text back saying she was okay and if she wasn't feeling right, she would leave early and go to the ER. 

I went later that day to my fathers and he said she never showed up. Figuring she was ill, I left her alone. I text her again the Sunday afternoon after still not hearing from her. I told her I knew she didn't go to my fathers that day and was wondering if everything was okay. No response. I sent several text messages. I called. I called and left a message. I sent an email later than night saying it was fine if she didn't want to work there anymore but to return the $30 or finish her hours. No response from her. 

The next day after not hearing from Ms. Cox again or her not going to my fathers, I posted a 'Do Not Hire' ad on Craigslist along with the pictures she posted on her ad. I didn't add her last name to the posting since she didn't add her last name to her add. When Ms. Cox saw the ad, she got angry and still didn't contact me she went and posted a very harsh, evil, hatred posting on Craigslist bashing my name (first and last) along with fathers name (first and last). She stated very private matters that my father has been dealing with in such a vulgar way. Long story, this bashing didn't stop. She then continued to post more with my name, using vulgar aggressive statements like 'tricks and hoes' 'gold diggers', even threatening me saying something was coming my way on one statement. 

Let alone the private information I told her, she posted online informing the public of my dads medical issues. Is this someone anyone would want around their loved ones, in their home? If she doesn't like what you say or do, she might take your personal issues at your home and spread it online. 

She came 2x (less than 3 hours) each time and she seemed to know so much. Stating how I 'hate' my father. Funny how someone can know how someone feels, if I hated my father, I wouldn't help him! I am the only one in my family that hasn't turned from him. Also stated how I rarely visit. I go almost daily, daily when no one goes and that is why we were looking for someone to go and help him, even neighbors can verify my constant visits sometimes numerous times throughout a day. 

If posting a 'Do Not Hire' ad with the personal experience I had with Ms. Cox is any indication to her temper, I would advise others to be careful when having her around your loved ones. I can't understand if a review of me not liking her service can make her so upset, why she just wouldn't have finished her hours of returned the $30. Ms. Cox is also saying she will take me to court, I don't know for what grounds but I have all documents of showing everything I have posted which are FACTS. I also have the print out of all messages from the very start to the last showing that Ms. Cox never seemed upset the 2x she worked less than 3 hours. I also can show how nice and appreciate I was through out our messages to one another. I can also show how even when Ms Cox spread horrible remarks about myself and my father, how I tried to stop the childish behavior and even text her that we need to learn to disagree and try to both be adults and come to some resolution where we both can be somewhat happy and she didn't want to be an adult and continued to attack me and say I did something wrong by posting my review of her services. 

I will continue to post my reviews on various sites since Ms. Cox couldn't stop. I also will continue because what she did isn't okay and she completely showed lack of compassion and for a certified nurses aide she should know privacy is extremely important. Funny how she went from so sweet and innocent to talking slang, ghetto and threatening. Beware of hiring this person for lack of trust and she is far from dependable.
