Ficka & Associates Horrible unprofessional lying unethical debt collectors Orlando Florida

Ficka & Associates was hired to collect a personal debt I owe to a former employer in an amount less than $2000. They left me an insulting message to call them and work out payment arrangements.

I just wanted it all done and over with so I called them to make the arrangements asking to speak with someone other than who left me the message. I was supposedly transferred to the owner. What a treat!

The "owner" answered the phone, "We are suing you. We are not interested in your little $50 a month payments. Your employer was a nice enough person to loan you money and look what you did. I'm not interested in your promises. We are going to put liens on everything you own, (I don't have anything, I'm looking for a job and a place to live!) He said he doesn't care that I don't have a job or a place of my own right now. It's not his problem. He will cut me a deal, pay him $1399 right now ( I owe $1400) and then he laughed. Then he started saying that he's going to charge me attorneys fees! I said, I don't have an attorney, I'm not paying for attorneys fees. And his reply was, "Well, maybe you won't but if you keep talking the price is just going to keep going up!" He was talking about how great my former employer was and how horrible I was for about 15 minutes. Even though he said he's never met my employer. I begged him to let me work out payment arrangements and he said that he is going to take my case personally and to quote, "put me in his spotlight and keep focused on me personally and file the papers to sue me personally first thing in the morning when he wakes up." and then he hung up on me! and left me crying. the worst part is, i really do want to work my debt out. i tried to contact my former employer to tell him to call of the unethical people at Ficka b/c I am going to pay him no matter what and then he doesn't have to pay those horrible people. Especially now that I see all the reports against these people. They need to be taken out of business permanently!!!!!
