I have been recently filling out credit card applications online. I applied with Fidelity investments and was denied due to credit history. On 1-3-07 I recieved a phone call from Max Davis.

He told me he was with Fidelity Investments and that I recived a recent denil on line I said yes. Which is true. He said that he had a card that I qualified for I had a choice of Visa Or Master card. I told him Master card. He siad that he needed to varify my bank account info to see if it is in good standing. So I gave him my info and told him that nothing was to be debited out of the account. He then said he would not debit any thing out of my checking account.

Then he told me that there is a one time membership fee and activation fee of 129.00 that would be charged to the card of a 500.00 limit laeving me a little over 300.00 limit. I said okay. He then said hold on and he would validate my account.

I started talking to my husband then I herd an automaited voice say debit checking account then a man breathing hard in the phone and coughing so I didn't here what else she had said. So I said debit my checking account and the guy said no not debit you checking account. Your new credit account. I then said I just do not want my checking account debited. He then siad I am not going to debit your checking account do you understand stand that say a clear yes. So I said yes. Then I herd a beep. He then told me I would recieve a card in 7-10 days.

After sleeping on it and talking with my bank they said with it being with fidelity I would have nothing to worry about and to call them with questions. So I came home and called Fidelity investments they told me that was not them. So while I was talking to fidelity I stumbled apon Rip-off Report. and called "Fidelity credit services" AKA Fidelity Investments (not the true honest Fidelity).

A lady answred the phone and I told her who I was and my problem. The lady said she could not help me because they do not issue cards just a magizne and if I give her my account number she would let me here the automited voice that I said yes to.

Then I told her that Max Davis lied and told me different and that they are scamming people and should be punished and she should record that and play it for people. She then told me that there was nothing she could do and that she was going to take my 129.00 I said like hell. I am going to sing to the world and my bank. She then siad too late and hung up the phone. That con lady did not give me her name so I can not diclose her name but she did know Max Davis and refused to let me talk with him. To be contiude....
