I bought a house on November 2003. Couple of months after I started receiving on the mail several letters regarding life insurance. On March 2004 a Fidelity & Guarantee Life Insurance salesperson visited my house, they were recommended on one of the letters I got from the mortgage company.

I agreed on a term life insurance with the salesperson and I gave him a voided check to set up the automatic payment of the account. I also gave him a check for 389.00 dollars for the payment of the first month of the term insurance that payment was pending a physical check up and blood tests.

The salesperson said he will contact me to set up the blood tests and depending on the results the policy will be accepted or denied. He never did, the nurse called to set up the appointment. After that I asked the nurse if I could keep any record or receipts of the policy, she said she did not have any information on the policy and that she was sure the salesperson will have it and he will provide it to me.

I waited for 2 months for a call or a letter on the mail with no luck. I tried to contact the salesperson with no luck. Finally after 6 payments of 389.00 dollars with no response from anybody I ordered a stop payment on that account.

I called on several occasions the company and no policy was found under my name, a lady called Lashay told me to fax her my info so they could return my money.

Those were all lies. After I fax her all my information by a miracle a policy number appeared and they will not return my money. I never got any papers of any kind, no policy, no letter saying accepted or denied, not even a call from the sales person.

Now they said that if I want I can go to court. That is very cruel because I live in Georgia. They know that if I want to take them to court I have to go to Baltimore MD.

They took all my savings for six months I think that justice should be done. I do not want this to happen to anybody else.

I am a father of five children and 389.00 dollars a month was a big sacrifice and not for a big dirty company to steal from you.
