FIFTH THIRD BANK, CINCINNATI OHIO Other Charges on leasing account Hamilton, Ohio

I have had an auto lease with Fifth Third bank since 2005. Next month is the end of my lease. I have been hit repeatedly over the years with additional fees that they had called in the letters to me late fees. But they were not your typical $35.00 fees. On average they would be anywhere from $150.00 to the latest $500.00. Because of the economy and problems with my employment I was late so I didnt think anything of it until the charges seemed to get larger and recurring too often. I requested an account summary and had my accountant look it over. He found that they had overcharged my account over the years by more than $7000.00. On the account summary there were line items for late fees, payments. The other charges just showed up as being paid but did not state what they were for.

When I call 5/3 to try to work through the overcharges I was told that the charges were valid although they were unable to say what they are for. Now I have to figure out whether or not I want to pay them anymore money (last two payments). I am over on the mileage so it is going to cost an additional $2000.00 when I turn the vehicle in. I have also read on the internet that they have added late fees to consumer at the end of the lease. They are into me for over $7000.00 and now I have to consider paying an attorney in order to get my money back. What is with this bank and their fake charges? They seem to do it to everyone.
