Fifth Third Bank ripoff keep taking money from my account when i no longer have account with them Cincinnati Ohio

On January, 2006. I purchased a new car and financed through Fifth Third Bank. On Aug, 2006 Fifth Third Bank call me saying that i have not made payment on Aug. but i already sent the check out couple weeks ago and they ask me for my bank account info so they can just withdraw it on Sept.

SO i gave it to them and that is the biggest mistake i ever made. On September I refinanced the car through CitiBank and payed off Fifth Third Bank and got a letter saying that the loan is payoff and the account is closed. I also got a check for the amount that is over pay along with that letter.

On Oct. 31, 2006 Fifth Third Bank took $672.81 from my account without telling me or my permission and overdrafted my account. The bank account info i gave them on Aug. is for when i still have a loan account with them but i no longer do, so they can't take my money with my permission.

I call their useless and rude customer service and they said they have no record in the computer that they took money from my account and told me to go dispute it with my bank and i did. 3 weeks later i received a letter saying i over pay them which i didnt, they took it without my permission, along with a check.

Since i already recover my money from my own bank,
i just put it aside maybe they want the check back. A week later they sent me a letter saying that i still owe them money and my account is reopen cause off that. Then i deposited the check they sent me and wrote out a check and sent it back to them.

Then a few days later on Dec. 7 Fifth Third Bank again took money from my account with telling me or my permission. This time i cancel the check i sent them and let them take their money back. A few days later i received a letter saying that the money they took from my account is not enough to cover and i have to pay $54.29 in interest in order to close the loan account.

They must be crazy to charge me interest when they are the one created the whole mess. I again call their customer service and the lady told me there have been a mix up and need to reappy to close the account and i dont have to pay the interest. She also gave me a reference number.

I thought my nightmare will end there but i didnt. On Dec. 29 2006 again Fifth third bank took money from my account without my permission and overdrafted my account and i have over $600 overdraft fees and return fees cause i already made alot of bill payments. I again call their customer service which dont know anything.

I even have a 3 way call with my bank's customer service and fifth third bank's customer service. They said they will have a manager look into my account and see what is going on and notify me within ten business day. 3 week is past and no phone call or mail, so i call the customer service again.

The lady told me she can't sort all this out and the person who have the power to is not in and she have to call me back tomorrow. Will see. Seem like one department don't know what the other department is doing. Stupid bank that i'll never do business with again. It been a nightmare.
