Whatever you do, do NOT give filmcomm a chance. It is run by two failed actors that could do nothing more than make aspiring actors and models feel as bad as they do about themselves. I worked in the company as a scouting manager so i got to learn their nasty ways first hand. Like any typical scam agency, they immediately tell you that your headshots are out of date and you need new ones. They will then give you a "discount" with their personal photographer who is as careless and insulting as melissa and helena themselves. With this photographer they automatically get a percentage of the price as a commission. Everything about the management is unprofessional and poorly done. There are a million more reasons to avoid this awful agency however i will not go into more detail. The moral of the story is the two that run filcomm talent (Melissa and Helena) are, put nicely, disgraces to the human race. Don't involve yourselves with them at all costs.

This is a perfect example of why sites such as these should not be used to verify who and what a company is. The BBB And ACTRA are legitimate venues...not this site.
We are well aware of exactly who the individual is that posted the above. They will be hearing from our lawyers by the end of the week. Slander and defamation is illegal and this person has shown malicious intent to harm.
Helena and myself are not actors, nor have we ever been. We also do not have any photographers. We do not care where our actors get their headshots done as long as they have some! The person that authored this slander was incompetant and could not handle working at the agency. Sadly this person is now bitter and chooses to break the law instead of simply finding new employment and moving on.
It is very sad that sites like this give a venue to people such as this individual to harm businesses. Any employee that spends even one day in our office is well aware of the amount of auditions and casting agencies that we deal with on an hourly basis. The casting houses would only select our people to the extent that they do because of Helena and my hard work. Sadly the person that posted this could not handle the amount of work that is required to maintain a position in the agency so in return they have decided to try to ruin our reputation and cause us to lose our business! Please do not allow this person to sway you if you are new to us! Please research us using proper venues to find out that we have never ever had a single verified complaint against us! Out of 960 actors that we represent, the few complaints on this site are obviously not founded and are not posted by any actors past or present.
People like the above are the type of people that place these type of complaints. We will handle it legally and to the fullest extent.
