I completely agrre with the comments made by Phil, from Milford, posted on Feb. 2010.
Final Coat has been jerking us around for a year. The painting started to crack and peel two years after the work was completed. We contacted Greg by phone and email, but he has not come to fix the problem. He always has some excuse - bad weather, too busy, too early in the season, too late in the season, laid off his workers, boo - h*o. I have filed a complaint with BBB and am in the process of filing one with Comsumer Protection. This man needs to have his license revoked. We will keep after him. I want my home fixed or I want my money back!

I had my house coated by Final Coat. Guaranteed for life, transferrable. I tried calling the number today to report problems with peeling, and the phone numbers are no longer valid. Any ideas how to contact them?
Regarding the previous rebuttal, the coating was guaranteed for life, so 2 years is an extremely short time for it to fail.

2 years long time for exterior paint
sounds like your a problem, not the painter
take this up with the paint manfacture, address your personal problems and leave the painter alone,
you do not complain about workmanship or sloppy job, you complain to take his license, the way he feed his family because after 2 years you have a paint peel??

Chris- It is amazing the number of complaints I have read on-line about FinaCoat, and in particular, Greg Caturano. Your situation sounds exactly the same as mine.
Like you, I just want my money back so I can repair the exterior of my house. It looks like something out of a bad horror movie. This company has no ethics, committment to customer service, or business sense. They should not be allowed to do business under any name.
We filed under both agenices, as well.
I was thinking about taking out an ad in a few local newspapers with a picture of a few of the houses greg has worked on to display their level of craftmanship to a broader audience. It really bothers me that they continue to rip people off....
