http://financialedservices.org... is a scam,,, i took post bankruptcy course as required by court,,, they are required to waive  the fee for those who cannot afford it,, however they have no way on their site to select or notify them that you cannot afford the fee and thus have it waived,, so i called them up on the phone to ask how or if i could take the course 2 hours, and not pay the fee,, this guy  Simino was on the other end of the phone,, and tells me to log back in and he has taken care of the fee waiver,, so i do,, and take the course,, and it says congrats a certificate should come or be available in 24 hours,, so i think ok,, great,, next day i get emails form him and another guy there,, saying urgent, contact us, we need more information to process your certificate,, i call and here is the scam,,he says-  oh, you have to notify or select for fee waiver before taking the course".. which as i said i did, or rather he did on the phone, enabling me to take his course without providing payment information,, but of course he claims i never did , and i must now pay them 25 bucks or no certificate!! now there is no way i could have even taken the course, without either a fee waiver, or payment upfront,, that is exactly how there system website is designed,, so the fact that i did take there course( because he waived it on his end over the phone) is prooof that what is say is true,, but he insisted that i never did , and he further claimed and insisted that there was no way for him and his company to waive the fee after i took the course,,, what a complete lying scamming scumbag this guy is!!! I am in the process of complaining to the US Trustee about this company and there neat little scam,, im certain that they have pulled this a million times before,,,, Simino should be locked up and his company should be barred from doing business,, he is a flat out con man and a crook!!

Waiver Policy

I recall speaking with this gentlemen and unfortunately, he describes a multitude of inaccuracies in his description of our policy and our conversation.

1) Our system does in fact let clients take the course without paying and yes, it was designed that way on purpose. Reason is, since our clients are filing bankruptcy, there are many times where they are unable to pay the moment they take the course. During registration, our course informs our client that they MUST pay or request a waiver before a certificate of completion is created. This allows the client to get the course done without being bogged down or stressed waiting to make a payment or submit a waiver. In fact, a lot of our attorney clients really appreciate we offer this service, as most providers will not let you begin the course without payment or a waiver upfront. Waivers take some providers up to 2 weeks for processing approval. Our company approves them within 24 business hours.

2) As with all clients who call and ask for a waiver, we provide them with the policy as outlined and required by the Department of Justice: where is located here and shown below:

FEE WAIVER POLICY Fee Waiver Policy A fee waiver is available if the consumer has income less than 150 percent (150%) of the poverty guidelines last published by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)(http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/11poverty.shtml). Please review these guidelines to see if you qualify.Please Note:The income for comparison to the poverty guidelines is the Total Combined Monthly Income as reported (or as will be reported) on Line 16 of Schedule I of the bankruptcy petition.Non-??cash governmental assistance (such as food stamps or housing subsidies) is not included in calculating debtor income.The income of a spouse is included in calculating income whether or not a joint petition is filed, unless the spouses are separated and a joint petition is not filed.The income of any other family member listed on Schedule I as a dependent also is included.You may also contact our office at (877)460-7337 to see if you qualify for a waiver. 3) I told this particular client that we would most certainly approve his waiver, so long as the waiver request was sent to us as shown above. 

4) The client never provided the waiver request.

5) It is unfortunate that when someone does not  follow the rules the goverment sets that they blame the company trying to enforce the rules.

6) We are audited by the Dept. of Justice and have NO, 0 complaints with over 60,000 clients. We provide thousands of waivers and free services to clients who follow the rules and provide the documentation the government requires to receive these services at no charge.

7) It is offensive, when someone trys to besmirch the reputation of a person and company because they fail to follow the rules and do not get what they want.

8) As the client indicates, we sent URGENT emails to him asking the client to call us to send the waiver, but, to no avail.

9) Lastly, no one here, including myself is a crook, nor did we do anything improperly. As a Dept. of Justice approved provider for over 3 years with over 60,000 clients, we provide an excellent service and a very reasonable fee at typically 50% less then the other providers.

10) To this day, our offer stands, if we receive a waiver request with the proper info, we will approve the wavier within 24 hours.
