FIREHOUSE PROMOTIONS INC is a SCAM!  Just read the reports people! Do not believe a WORD they say!  They start by contacting you with promises that they are working with YOUR local fire department to send out Memo Boards and are looking for businesses who want to advertise on these Magnets. They then send you a phony invoice after they take your money, ($500.00 in our case) with no product ever shipped or created!!

We are a prominent Dr. office in SC. We gave them $500.00 on 10/20/2009 and have YET to see any memo boards. When we contacted the local fire department who they said they were doing the memo boards for, the Assistant Chief who is in charge of all promotions there said they have no contract with Firehouse Promotions and are not expecting any Memo Boards from anyone. The Assistant Chief also said they don't do business with outside promotions companies, they do all their promotions personally within the county they represent.  When I told this to Firehouse Promotions, sarah said they do have a contract and e-mailed me a contract with the Assistant Chief's signature. I forwarded this e-mail to the Assistant Chief and he called me immediately to tell me this signature is FORGED.  I e-mailed Sarah again to let her know and she said

"if someone there signed a name that they did not have permission to sign that is an internal problem.  We are going to print next week and shipping to the fire department as per the signed contract."

We have contacted Firehouse Promotions multiple times since October and spoken to Syl Perino, Gino Groom and Sarah, all of whom promise the Memo Boards are in production and will be shipped. They have repeatedly lied about shipping any product so we demanded our money back.  Now they have cut off all communication and we are filing a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.

I strongly urge anyone who has been scammed by this company to report them this way as well! They need to pay for what they are doing to businesses all in the name of our Local Fire Departments!  I only wish I had read the Ripoff Reports before we decided to do any business with this company!!  I can promise I will do my research before I trust another company again!!

Don't let them SCAM you too!!

Very Poor Quality Product!!

AUTHOR: Dr. Mark Roemmich - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 27, 2010

I would like to share that we did finally get our "Magnets" in yesterday. I would, however like to say that they are very poor quality. They are just a sheet of paper with a background print with 3 business card sized ads on it laminated and 2 magnets glued to the top back of the sheet!  Very sloppy and certainly not worth $500.00. I could have done this project in a day at my home office! On top of that, our ad is not even in color as was promised!

It is very sad that it took 6 months of exhausting ourselves fighting to get our money back, reporting to the Attorney General and also putting a lawsuit in progress to get a resolution.  These people do not know how to run a legitimate business, are very rude and unethical, and I'm not sure how they've stayed in business so long! Probably because they ran this same scheme under the name Spirit Solutions and had to change their name due to legal difficulties!

Just a word of advise:
Please save yourselves the hassle and find local advertisers you can trust to deliver what they promise to avoid the same frustrating experience we had to go through!!
