I opened an account with firepay and put through a transfer from my bank account which cost me $2.99. They deposited somewhere around $0.80 as what i assume to be a validation amount.

The merchant that was to be paid from these funds required that the e-mail address match the e-mail account on firepay. Since the account email address was my wife's address for the merchant I tried to correct this by having her open a firepay account. I didn't realize this requirement until after I opened it with my email address.

According to firepay only one person per household can hold an account. This I can understand. No problem. What I don't understand is that after the transfer I made cleared my account and posted to my firepay account they disabled my account along with my wife's account. Both email address are from the same ISP provider.
The site when I sign on states that both are disabled and to keep using the original account. No chance of doing that if the original has been disabled.
After several emails and meesages sent to them I still have yet to hear from them. I explained to them what had happened and why things where done the way they were. I explained there was no way of validating my account with the deposit they entered. I even told them what it was.
They claim they have 24/7 support and customer service and after a week of contacting them you would think I would get a response. Absolutely not!! I even tried to call them just to get a recorded message stating that my account is activated.

I even tried to contact the people who oversee firepay and their ombudsman. No response to date.

I understand that if there is an issue it can be cleared. However these people as far as i'm concerned have stole from me and their refusal to respond only supports their fraudulent and intentional theft.
I have requested that they terminate the account and return my funds that rightfully belong to me. I'm not expecting to get anywhere with these people.
Anyone else considering using these people STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

And for those who have been wronged I hope in some small way Justice will be served.
