First American Home Buyers Protection Corp. A different problem every time I call Internet

Every time I call First American Home Buyers Protection Corp., I get a different run around. This time they are claiming a vent required for my heating system is not covered under the warranty. The contractor went to bat for me and said it is an integral part of the system, but AHBPC said no. I am reviewing the contract to see how it is worded.

The last time I dealt with them, I was getting new appliances and donating my old to charity. There was a defective spring on one door of my old oven and they wouldn't fix it because the contractor was late for an appointment and the oven had been removed from the wall.

The time before that, it took a year and a half to have a leaking AC coil replaced. And I was charged for separate visits because the 1st 2 times the contractor just filled up the AC with coolant and didn't check for a leak.

I am glad I found this site. I hope this and the other 96 reports keep someone from buying their services.
