First American Mitigators David Carr Makes lots of guarantees, but only takes your money! Bingham Farms, Michigan

I was contacted by First American Mitgators offering to assist me with a mortgage modification. A rep from the company named David Carr came to my home told me that his company had review their info and guaranteed me that my loan qualified for the government program. He told also told my daughter the same thing over the phone. He told me approximately how much my interest rates would be lowered and that it would not change.  He also told me that they would not have to let my mortgage go delinquent in order to get cooperation from my bank.  I had to pay over $2000 upfront for First American Mitigators assistance, but I was guaranteed the results stated by Mr. Carr.

Several months into the program, while talking to my bank I found out that my loan didn't qualify for the gov't program. They offered to assist me over the next couple years with a reduced rate, but that's it. My savings would be only slightly more than what I had paid to 1st Am Mitigators.  My ex wife who also decided to use them, was told by her rep told that the only way to proceed with her bank was to let her mortgage go delinquent.  I did not receive anything that I was promised or guaranteed by Mr. Carr just ended up losing several thousand dollars.  On two different occasions I went to their office to speak with management, but it yielded no results nor did they try to rectify the matter with me.
