Home Team Movers are VERY difficult to work with, unprofessional,  and they do not follow through with what they advertise/promise. Additionally, the different departments within the "organization," or whatever these peopele claim to be, obviously do not communicate effectively.

I arranged with a deposit to move over a particular weekend, and I was prepared two weeks before the originally scheduled date to move, so I called the company to see if it would be possible to have my belonings moved the coming weekend, and this is where all the trouble started. They claimed that I just needed to fill out change of date form and fax it back and my stuff would be moved as requested. That same day (a Monday), I attempted several times to fax the form to a continuously busy number. After verifying the number the next day, I continued to receive a busy signal at the local number and the given fax number.

By Wednesday, a representative assured me that I could e-mail a written request and that they move could still be arranged for the coming weekend despite the fact that I just tried to cancel because of the difficulty with the lines (after waiting 15 minutes to a ringing phone). After not hearing anything all Thurs, I called that evening to check the status of my move, and was again assured by a representative that the move could still take place that coming weekend. The following day, Fri, I once again had to contact them early afternoon (after another long wait) because I still have not heard anything about a move that was supposed to take place that weekend; and I was assured someone would come tomorrow and they were just waiting for the carrier to contact me personally.

A few hours later, I called back and they informed me no one would be able to come unitl Monday, which I could not do because i work during the week (not to mentioned I had already started my new job for which I had moved and had to make other arragments for someone to be at my old residence). Why couldn't they have been honest about the fact that they couldn't move that weekend!? I was infuriated, and cancelled. Currently, my deposit is in dispute with my credit card company, because they are refusing to refund my desposit despite all my frustration.

Wish I had done more searching and saw the plethora of negative reports abou this company!
