First Choice Emergency Room Go to Urgent Care , Colleyville,  Texas

This place is a total rip off - I'm on Medicare - I went there because they took Medicare and I was having trouble thinking clearly and was dizzy.  They took me right in and wanted to do everything to me including a CAT scan.  The long and short of it they gave me an IV and I was feeling better when I left.

Got the bill - well two bills - total out the door was over $8,000  - yes you are reading it correctly.  When I called in to be sure this was right the person in billing said next time I should go to an urgent care - I kid of thought I was at a doc in the box - who knew.  They were very polite and nice people but then again if I could get $8,000 for someone coming to see me for 45 minutes, I think I would be real polite to them as well.  - I will never go again.  Oh by the way they send two separate bills - one for the doc and one for the clinic - sweet.  Can't wait for my Christmas card:-

Medicare paid for most as did my 2^nd insurance but I still had over $250 out of pocket – they should be reported to Medicare for ‘padding’ the bill.  This is why our health care cost keep rising is operations like this – totally wrong.
