FIRST CHOICE POWER DIRECT ENERGY charging a 29.95 collection recovddery fee just to mail out a termination letter Dallas TX

 on November 9, 2016 i received my electric bill and discovered i have two collection recovery fees each for 29.95 i contacted first choice power /direct energy to explain what was the charges i have been with this company since 2007 never have i seen this charge on my bill when it was explained to me by a supervisor that they charge that when they mail out a termination letter i explained to her i only received one termination letter and the bill was paid before it was turned off if the bill is not paid three days after the due date you will be charged that 29.95 i asked her why was i charged twice 29.95 she could not explain that to me but said she could put in a request to have one removed i explained to her that i had spoken to a customer service rep before to see when was my termination date he told me a different date then what i received and never mentioned anything about the 29.95 collection recovery fee
