I was called and offered a credit card with a credit limit of $2,500.00. They told me it was not a store card, but an actual credit card with a line of credit for my use immediately. I responded by asking questions and they said they would send a packet to me in the mail for my review, and that nothing would be credited to my bank until I looked everything over and made my decision if I wanted to pay for the card and have credit immediatley.

I am on a Consumer Credit program and I told them that I did not think I wanted to go in debt again for more credit. I did not authorize any debits from my checking account and I see on June 20, 2003, a debit of $296.00. The bank cannot trace this transaction.

The phone number I had is disconnected. WHAT CAN I DO TO GET MY MONEY BACK. I have been scammed and now they have my account number.

Please HELP!!!!
