First Consumers National Bank FCNB ripoff Albany New York
*Consumer Comment: Something needs to be done.
I did not receive a bill from FCNB since June. Now I was assessed months of overlimit and late fees. I am disputing them now, but another thing that is as disturbing as not receiving the bills is that I may still have to pay for this, it is also on my credit report that I am months past due, etc. They should not be able to get away with this!!!!!

Like all of the others, I too have had very negative experiences with FCNB. The stories all seem to be the same and mine is no different. At one time several months ago, I was close but not at my credit limit. All of a sudden my account was severely over it limit and I was on the late fee and over the limit fee roller coaster. Once this happened they stopped sending me bills. This made it even worse, now my account is $700 over the limit and I had not made a purchase in almost a year. How can they get away with this? Im in a catch 22, if I settle on the account It shows up negatively on my credit report (not that my credit isnt in shambles because of them) and if I pay what they are saying I owe, They win. I would also be more than willing to participate in any law suit against FCNB.
